Abstract: A form changing toy includes a moving part, a rotating part, a first stopper, a motor, and a holding mechanism. The rotating part is configured to move the moving part in first and second directions. An operation direction of the moving part is changed between the first and second directions at an inflection point of the rotating part. The rotation of the rotating part is configured to stop rotating in a first rotation direction when the rotating part rotating contacts the first stopper. The holding mechanism is configured to hold the moving part in a first state at a location between an inflection point and the first stopper, and to release the holding when the rotating part starts rotating in a second rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction after the stopping at the first stopper.

A controller acquires a verification code from a terminal apparatus of an invitee who is invited to the game by a player of the game who serves as an inviter, searches the storage unit for a registration code that matches the verification code, and grants a privilege related to the game to an inviter indicated by the identification information stored in the storage section in association with the registration code searched for.

Abstract: A game apparatus allows a player to play a game using a character. A character assignment unit assigns the character to the player. An information storage unit stores parameters for the game and state information indicating a first state in which the parameters are maintained at an initial value or a second state in which the parameter is changeable for the character assigned to the player by the character assignment unit. An information management unit changes the state indicated by the state information from the first state to the second state. A display control unit causes a display device to display a first character image indicating the character if the state information of the character indicates the second state and causes the display device to display a second character image indicating the character in a mode different from the first character image if the state information of the character indicates the first state.

Abstract: In an optical circuit mounting structure of the present invention, a surface for mounting an optical circuit is implemented as three separate structural members (1, 2, 3) in the form of aluminum plates. The structural member (1, 2, 3) are connected together by hinges (7, 8). Optical parts (4), splices (5), connectors (6) for external lines and so forth are mounted on the circuit mounting surfaces of the structural members (1, 2, 3). The optical parts (4) are interconnected by optical fibers (9). The fibers (9) and their extra length portions (10) are affixed to the structural members (1, 2, 3) by fiber retainers 11. At the portions where the structural members (1, 2, 3) join each other, the fibers (9) intersect the axes of the hinges (7, 8) at an acute angle. After assemblage and adjustment, the structural members (1, 2, 3) are selectively folded upward and downward by 180 degrees about the associated flanges (7, 8) and then affixed together.
