  • Patent number: 11904835
Abstract: A hybrid vehicle includes: a driving power source including an engine and an electric motor; a battery that supplies electric power to the electric motor; and a controller that controls the engine and the electric motor according to a temperature of the battery. When a predetermined EV mode condition is satisfied, and a normal-temperature condition in which the temperature of the battery is a threshold or more is satisfied, the controller controls the driving power source in an EV mode in which the electric motor is driven. When the EV mode condition is satisfied, and a low-temperature condition in which the temperature of the battery is less than the threshold is satisfied, the controller operates the electric motor in a state where electric current flows between the battery and the electric motor drives the engine such that the engine generates traveling power transmitted to a driving wheel.

  • Patent number: 11897332
Abstract: A wheelie suppressing control unit includes: a first determiner that determines whether a vehicle is in a traveling state satisfying a first condition representing a wheelie state; a second determiner that determines whether the vehicle is in a traveling state satisfying a second condition representing a pre-wheelie state which is a state preceding the wheelie state; and a controller that controls the vehicle based on an operation input. If the first determiner determines that the first condition is satisfied, the controller executes first control that reduces the output of a drive source of the vehicle. If the first determiner determines that the first condition is not satisfied and the second determiner determines that the second condition is satisfied, the controller executes second control that restricts a rate of change of the output with respect to the operation input provided to an operation member.

  • Patent number: 11866030
Abstract: A control device of a hybrid vehicle includes: a determiner that determines whether or not a predetermined first condition that efficiency is prioritized is satisfied and whether or not a predetermined second condition that output performance is prioritized; and a control unit that controls an engine and an electric motor in accordance with an accelerator manipulation amount and a determination result of the determiner. When the first condition is satisfied, the control unit controls the driving power source such that the driving power source outputs first driving force in a first driving state where the efficiency is prioritized, and when the second condition is satisfied, the control unit controls the driving power source such that the driving power source outputs second driving force larger than the first driving force in a second driving state where the output performance is prioritized.

  • Publication number: 20230054594
Abstract: A small watercraft system includes: a watercraft body; a watercraft body manipulation member through which a watercraft body manipulation command is input by an operator; a drive source that allows the watercraft body to plane; a steering device that allows the watercraft body to be steered; and a control device that controls the drive source and the steering device to operate the watercraft body. The control device determines whether a mode switching condition is satisfied, the mode switching condition including an operator's absence condition that the operator is absent from the watercraft body. Upon determining that the mode switching condition is satisfied, the control device executes an operator-absent manipulation mode in which the control device moves the watercraft body by controlling the drive source and the steering device based on an operator-absent manipulation command independent of the watercraft body manipulation command.

  • Patent number: 11529943
Abstract: A quickshifter-equipped vehicle control unit includes an engine speed calculator configured to calculate an engine speed and a shift controller configured to operate in a quick shift mode and in a normal shift mode. The quick shift mode is a mode in which upon detection of the shift operation, the shift controller adjusts an output of an engine while keeping a main clutch in an engaged state, and the normal shift mode is a mode in which upon detection of the shift operation, the shift controller controls a clutch actuator to bring the main clutch into a disengaged state. The shift controller selects the quick shift mode when the engine speed is higher than a predetermined rotational speed threshold, and selects the normal shift mode when the engine speed is lower than the rotational speed threshold.
