  • Patent number: 7702865
Abstract: A storage system and a data migration method that enable most suitable data migration with the correlation between data managed by particular applications being taken into account. The above storage system and data migration method are configured to collect operational information for each volume; respectively calculate a required volume performance level that is a level of performance required of the volume storing data that is a migration target, and an actual volume performance level that is a level of performance for each volume established in a storage apparatus, based on the collected information; and, in accordance with the calculated required volume performance level and each of the actual volume performance levels, when necessary, migrate the data that is a migration target to another volume having an actual volume performance level corresponding to the required volume performance level of the volume storing that data.

  • Patent number: 7506101
Abstract: The present invention provides a data migration technique enabling a required performance to be satisfied as closely as possible. A server obtains an IOPS measurement value of a plurality of business APs and an IOPS measurement value of a plurality of logical volumes serving as the access destinations of the respective business APs, and on the basis of the various obtained IOPS measurement values, selects a source sub-candidate from a plurality of VOLs. The server identifies a parity group to which the selected source sub-candidate belongs from a plurality of parity groups, sets the two or more VOLs belonging to the identified parity group as two or more source candidates, and selects a plurality of target candidates from a plurality of other VOLs.

  • Publication number: 20080248299
Abstract: A pressure-sensitive adhesive, comprising a polymer (A), which is formed by polymerization of a radical polymerizable monomer, contains carboxyl groups, and has a glass transition temperature within a range from ?80 to 0° C. and a weight average molecular weight within a range from 500,000 to 1,500,000, a tricyclic diterpene carboxylic acid (B), and a curing agent (C) capable of reacting with a carboxyl group, wherein the total acid value of the combination of the polymer (A) and the tricyclic diterpene carboxylic acid (B) is within a range from 5 to 50 (mgKOH/g).

  • Patent number: 7313650
Abstract: The archive host selects the desired logical VOL-ID from among a plurality of logical VOL-ID corresponding with a plurality of physical VOL that exist in the storage control system pool that consists of a plurality of storage control systems, and sends the selected logical VOL-ID to the server. The server references the logical-physical VOL management table to acquire the physical VOL-ID of the physical VOL managed in the storage control system that corresponds with the received logical VOL-ID, specifies the storage control system that comprises the physical VOL corresponding with this ID, and then reports information relating to the specified storage control system and acquired physical VOL-ID to the archive host.
