  • Patent number: 6610396
Abstract: A resin molding product of the present invention is a sandwiched molding product provided with a core layer and a skin layer having at least an electrophotographic toner. Further, it is preferable that the core layer contains an additive resin, which is compatible with a binder resin that is used for the electrophotographic toner and can give an elasticity to the core layer when the additive resin and the binder resin are dissolved with each other. According to the arrangement, it is possible to utilize as a raw material a nonstandard toner, which is produced during a manufacturing process of the electrophotographic toner, but cannot be used as a commercial product, and a discard toner, which has been used in an image forming apparatus of an electrophotographic method, thereby realizing a resin molding product of a high quality at a low cost, while the resin molding product can improve its impact resistance by use of the additive resin.

  • Patent number: 6189589
Abstract: In a method and molding apparatus for laminated molded bodies, a thermal-molding felt and a thermoplastic resin sheet, respectively in hot and soft condition, are set or placed on a mold face of cold-pressing-molding lower mold. A cold-pressing-molding upper mold lowers onto the lower mold to press the the thermal-molding felt and thermoplastic resin sheet. Simultaneously, cooling air is supplied to center portion of the thermal-molding felt through a blowing pipe protruding from mold face of the thermal-molding felt side and intruding into the felt accelerating circulation of cooling air and cooling of the thermoplastic resin sheet.

  • Patent number: 5925207
Abstract: An automotive interior component consisting of a resin core member having a required shape and a surface skin member for imparting a favorable surface property thereto in which a peripheral portion of the surface skin member is folded back and secured onto a reverse surface of a resin core member in a quick and reliable manner without using any bonding agent, and a device and method for manufacturing the same. By blowing hot air produced from an annular hot air supply pipe arranged along a reverse surface of the peripheral portion of the resin core member and a reverse surface of the folded back portion of the surface skin member which is combined with the resin core member as a half-finished assembly, the folded back portion of the surface skin member is thermally welded and secured to the reverse surface of the resin core member.
