  • Patent number: 9635430
Abstract: In the case of receiving a request for list display of a plurality of images from a communication apparatus, an imaging apparatus acquires image data of a plurality of images recorded in a recording medium and analyzes a shooting mode or a relationship of each of the plurality of images with one or more other images referring to supplementary information such as Exif tag information of the image. In the case of determining that there are images taken in a continuous shooting mode or processed images acquired by performing copy or special processing, the imaging apparatus transmits an icon image for thumbnail for distinguishing the images to the communication apparatus via a predetermined wireless communication line. The communication apparatus receives image data of icon images for thumbnail transmitted by the imaging apparatus and list displays the received image data.

  • Patent number: 8269847
Abstract: When an instruction of shooting a moving image is given in a mail writing mode, a mobile communication terminal detects the instruction, controlling an image pick-up unit 10 and image pick-up controlling unit 12 to continuously shoot images for a certain period of time. Plural images are obtained and displayed live for a certain period of time. When non image-moving region is found in all the plural obtained images and is included in the image displayed live, the non image-moving regions of MPEG format are subjected to a transparent process, and an animation file of GIF format is created. Mail data is read from a memory 15 and a description is given to display in line an animation GIF icon of the animation file at a current cursor position in the mail in the process of writing.

  • Patent number: 7996026
Abstract: Cellular phones (1a, 1b) adjust the brightness of an image before sending mail with an attached photograph, so that it is possible to visually verify the mail text when the mail text is overlaid over the image, which serves as a background image attached to the mail text at the receiving side, after which the mail is send to a system (in particular, to mail servers (33) and (63)). The color of mail text characters is changed in responsive to the image brightness. When the cellular phones (1a, 1b) receive an e-mail with an attached photograph, they display the mail text overlaid over the image as a background image (which has had its brightness adjusted).

  • Patent number: 7970282
Abstract: A bridge controller, which controls relay between terminals including emission units and addresses assigned to the terminals, acquires coordinates of a light-received element in an light receiving unit at which light emitted from an emission unit is received, and stores the acquired coordinates in a location information table memory in association with a logical location on the network. Thereafter, it is determined whether or not the stored coordinates differ from newly acquired coordinates. When it is determined that the stored coordinates differ from the newly acquired coordinates, the logical location associated with the coordinates stored in the storage unit is controlled to be changed and stored.

  • Patent number: 7443404
Abstract: When opening of a lens barrier is detected, a camera mode processing starts. An object image is displayed in the aspect ratio of 4:3, and a user can carry out photographing by carrying out a shutter operation using a first side switch with the right forefinger while holding a portable telephone with the right hand. When opening of the lens barrier is not detected, a wide-screen display is set and a movie playback mode processing starts. The user can watch a playing-back movie while holding the both ends of the portable telephone in a state of being folded with the both hands so as to keep the display device with the longer side at the top.

  • Publication number: 20080141128
Abstract: The image browse function is activated and the image is displayed. When the function key (playback) is depressed, the pointer is placed at the top of the image file chunk corresponding to the displayed image. The operation then judges whether or not the position of the pointer is the text chunk. When the text chunk is discovered by the position of the pointer, the operation judges whether or not the keyword (image display control information) which indicates insertion of the image display control information was inserted and described. When the keyword has been inserted, the operation extracts the keyword and performs display processing of the image according to the keyword (image display control information).

  • Patent number: 7295818
Abstract: When an off-hook key is pressed in the power-off state, a power control unit applies power to circuits including a radio communication unit. When a camera mode startup power on/off key (manner key in the phone mode) provided on the side of the body is pressed in the power-off state, the power control unit applies power from a power supply to each circuit except the radio communication unit, whereby the signal-off mode is set and an imaging device, DSP and subdisplay unit are activated. After that, when a shutter key (memo key in the phone mode) is pressed, an image at that time is captured and stored into a RAM.

  • Patent number: 7130394
Abstract: A CPU detects an instruction to activate an address book mode by detecting an operation of an address book key in an incoming call waiting state, and displays an address book data new creation screen or an existing data edition screen in a main display panel by activating an address book viewing/creation/edition program by using an ROM. When “activation of camera” is selected, an imaging unit is activated, display of a corresponding resolution is set in a monitor display area, and images are sequentially displayed. When a picked-up image is determined by detecting an operation of a determination key, image data of the displayed image is stored in an image memory, a link “1” for image display is set in a corresponding address data area in an address book data storage area, and a record number 001 in the image memory storing the image data is stored in a link information storage area in association with 001 in the address book data storage area.
