Abstract: In a nuclear power plant, a reactor building and a building annex to this reactor building are constructed as a unitary reactor combination building in which a condensate storage tank is accommodated and the inner wall of the condensate storage tank is lined with stainless steel plates.

Abstract: The invention provides a storage tank comprising a storage tank main body of concrete; lining plates lined on inner surfaces of a bottom, side walls, and a ceiling of the storage tank main body; and a manhole of the ceiling which is air- and liquid-tight and which blocks radiation. Leakage detection ditches are formed within welded seams of the lining plates. A method for manufacturing such a storage tank is also provided.

Abstract: A lined tank comprises a plurality of lining plates attached to the inside surface of the tank, concrete shutterings disposed inside of the lining plates and embedded in concrete, shaped steel members embedded in the concrete to which the shutterings are attached, backing plates attached to the embedded shaped steel members at the attached portions of the lining plates, leakage detecting channels which are defined by the above elements, and means connected to said leakage detecting channels and adapted to detect the leakage of the lined tank.
