Abstract: An information terminal includes: a display section; a display control section; a touch panel; a gesture detecting section that detects, when the display control section allows the display section to display images in three or more split regions of a display screen, a pinch-out gesture of spreading two fingers touching respective adjacent two of the three or more split regions; and a region setting section that makes, upon detection of the pinch-out gesture, a setting that the adjacent two split regions are aligned along directions of the pinch-out gesture and that the display screen is split into two split regions to be exclusively placed therewithin. The display control section allows an enlarged display of the images of the split regions subjected to the pinch-out gesture in the split regions set by the region setting section and avoids a display of the images of the other one or more split regions.

Abstract: A monitoring system detects an event happening to a detection target. The monitoring system includes an imaging device, storage, and a controller. The imaging device captures an image of an imaging area including the detection target to generate captured image data indicating a captured image. The storage stores therein a detection range in the captured image. The controller detects a change to the captured image in the detection range based on the captured image data. The detection range includes a detection target image exhibiting the detection target. Upon detecting a change to the captured image in the detection range, the controller changes the detection range so that the detection range encloses the detection target image.

Abstract: A monitoring system includes an imaging device, a controller, storage, and a notifying section. The imaging device captures an image of an imaging area to generate captured image data indicating a captured image. The controller detects events based on the captured image data. The events include a pre-event and a post-event detected after the pre-event has ended. The controller changes a first flag from an off state to an on state upon detecting the pre-event, and holds the first flag in the on state even after the pre-event has ended. The controller changes the second flag from the off state to the on state upon detecting the post-event, and directs the notifying section to notify of consecutive event occurrence information indicating that consecutive events have occurred.

The communication section transmits/receives data to/from an external server. The reception section receives instructions from a user. The communication control section controls data communication operation performed by the communication section and causes the communication section to receive, from the server, data which is included in a plurality of pieces of data stored in the server and which is specified by the instruction received by the reception section. The storage control section causes the storage section to store the data received from the server by the communication section. In a case where the data received by the communication section is the data received from a predefined server, the data is deleted from the storage section when predefined time has passed since predefined processing was performed on the data.
