  • Patent number: 5890917
Abstract: A metal panel (4) is provided to cover the entire PC card (P). The ground plate (10) has an attaching portion and outer and inner terminals (11) and (12) extending rearwardly from the attaching portion. The attaching portion is attached to the attaching means of the housing (6). The outer and inner terminals (11) and (12) contact the inner face of the panel (4) and the ground circuit (3B) of an inner board (3), respectively.

  • Patent number: 5791920
Abstract: An ejector lever (9) has a first push portion (10) and a second push portion (12) spaced from the fulcrum stud (8) further than the first push portion (10) in order to push a slider member (13). The second push portion (12) is provided on a cantilever spring (11) so as to provide the slider member (13) with spring forces when the first push portion (10) releases the connection between the PC card (1) and the connector section (5).

  • Patent number: 5775923
Abstract: A plurality of contact elements (5) extend through a support member (4) and having a connection portion (5A) on the PC card side and a wiring portion on the side opposite to the PC card side. The wiring portions (5B) are connected to corresponding signal circuits of a connection board (7). The ground member (6) has on the non-PC card side a connection leg (6A) connected to a ground circuit of the connection board 7, which is designed to be fitted into an intermediate connector 9 for connection with a circuit of the equipment.

  • Patent number: 5599197
Abstract: The IC card electrical connector includes an ejector button (10), a spring member (11) for biasing the ejector button forwardly, an engaging member (12) pivoted to the ejector button and engaging with the housing to hold the ejector button in place, and a cam mechanism. The cam mechanism includes a cam section (9) having a first cam face (9A) and a second cam face (9B) and an intermediate member (6) having a cam follower (6B). When the engaging member is released to allow forward movement of the ejector button, the intermediate member is biased into a space between the ejector button and the eject bar. The cam follower is provided on a resilient arm (6A) so that it moves on the first cam face whereas when an IC card is inserted to move the eject bar forwardly, it slides on the second cam face to escape from the space.

  • Patent number: 5536180
Abstract: A PC card electrical connector with an expandable ejector includes an intermediate bar (10) having a cam follower pin (13); an ejector button section (20) for motion between a lock position (A2) where the ejector button section projects little more than a front end of the casing and a release position (C2) where the ejector button section projects far from the front end of the casing; a line spring (28) having a cam follower end (30); a first biasing spring (30) for biasing the ejector button section forwardly so that when the ejector button section is depressed a first time to release the follower end of the line spring from the lock position, the ejector button section is brought to the release position; and a second biasing spring (49) for biasing the intermediate bar onto a side of the ejector button section so that when the ejector button section is moved forward to the release position, the intermediate bar is turned to connect to the ejector button section, thereby making it possible that by depressing
