  • Patent number: 9207370
Abstract: The present invention aims to provide an antiglare film that can be thinned without lowering the hard coat properties and antiglare properties, highly suppress scintillation and white muddiness, and provide display images with a high contrast. The antiglare film includes a light-transmitting substrate and an antiglare layer with surface roughness on one face of the light-transmitting substrate, wherein the antiglare layer contains silica fine particles, organic fine particles, and a binder resin, part of the silica fine particles form agglomerates and the agglomerates are contained in the antiglare layer sparsely and densely, the agglomerates of the silica fine particles are densely distributed around the organic fine particles, and part of the agglomerates densely distributed around the organic fine particles are attached to the surface of the organic fine particles and/or have some of the silica fine particles contained in the agglomerates impregnate the inside of the organic fine particles.

  • Patent number: 9146335
Abstract: Provided is an optical layered body which sufficiently suppresses generation of interference fringes and curls, can make a hard coat layer thin, and prevent an increase in production cost. Provided is an optical layered body having a hard coat layer formed on one surface of a light-transmitting substrate, wherein the hard coat layer has a surface roughness on its surface and the surface roughness satisfies the following inequalities of ?a and Kr where ?a is an average inclination angle of the uneven part and Kr is Kurtosis of the unevenness: 0.01°??a?0.10° 1?Kr?3.

  • Publication number: 20150116835
Abstract: Provided are: an optical film, wherein interference fringes can be suppressed from being generated, cloudiness is not observed, and a manufacture cost can be reduced. In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided an optical film 10 including a functional layer 12, wherein the functional layer 12 has a concavo-convex surface 12A; and in a state in which the concavo-convex surface 12A is irradiated with parallel light travelling in a direction sloped at 10° with respect to a normal direction N of the optical film 10, in an angle distribution of reflected light intensities measured in a plane including both directions of the normal direction N and the travelling direction T of the parallel light, a value obtained by subtracting ½ angle width from 1/100 angle width is 0.7° or more and 1.4° or less.

  • Publication number: 20130250414
Abstract: Provided is an antiglare film in which occurrence of screen scintillation and white muddiness can be sufficiently prevented at a high level while maintaining hard coating properties and antiglare properties, and excellent display images with a high contrast can be provided. The antiglare film includes a light-transmitting substrate; and an antiglare layer having a surface roughness on at least one surface of the light-transmitting substrate, wherein the antiglare layer contains an aggregate composed of two or more types of fine particles, and the aggregate forms a projection of the surface of the antiglare layer to form a surface roughness on the antiglare layer.
