    Abstract: A vehicle seat device capable of suitably restraining an occupant by means of a seat belt device includes a seat main body having a seat cushion and a seat back, a reclining device connecting the seat back to the seat cushion so as to be pivotable and capable of locking a pivoting motion of the seat back, and a seat belt device for restraining an occupant seated on the seat main body. The seat belt device includes a lap belt restraining the occupant's lumbar or thighs, a belt anchor attached at a position beside the seat main body and having a belt engaging portion engaging with an engaged portion provided in a tip portion of the lap belt, and an anchor moving device capable of moving the belt engaging portion of the belt anchor in a seat front to back direction with respect to the seat main body.

The occupant protection apparatus further comprising an electronic control circuit configured to perform moving the pressure-receiving portion so that the occupant is pushed away from the side wall before the occupant comes into contact with the side airbag at an activation time when the side airbag device is activated by an impact acting on the side wall from an outside of the vehicle and the side airbag is inflated and deployed.

The dividing sheet includes a brittle portion that expands along the inner circumferential surface of the second grain through a rear end face of the second grain and is more brittle than other portions.

    Abstract: A satellite packet communication system comprising a central station and VSAT stations. The central station generates chip-rate clock pulses and transmits a series of data on timeslots of a frame to a satellite transponder, and a plurality of terminal stations. Each VSAT station receives the frame from the transponder and recovers the chip-rate clock pulses from the received frame. A pseudorandom number (PN) sequence generator, provided in the terminal station is synchronized with the recovered chip-rate clock pulses for generating bits of a PN sequence with which packetized data bits are pseudorandomly modulated and transmitted in burst form to the transponder. The central station includes a correlator which is synchronized with the central station's chip-rate clock pulses to detect correlations between the pseudorandomly modulated data bits a sequence of pseudorandom numbers corresponding to the PN sequence bits of the terminal stations.
