  • Patent number: 11976696
Abstract: A one-way clutch includes a C-shaped spring having one end thereof engaged by the inner ring and the other end abutting a roller at one end of a row of rollers that abut each other, thereby engaging the rollers with the outer ring and the inner ring. The inner ring has a radius at the engaging end of the cam surface opposed to the roller at the other end of the row of the rollers larger than its radii at the engaging ends of the cam surfaces opposed to the other rollers of the same row.

  • Publication number: 20190271175
Abstract: A driving force transmission mechanism is provided which includes an input switching clutch configured to selectively transmit, to the output shaft (output member), either one of the rotationally driving force applied to the electrically driven input gear (first input member) and the rotationally driving force applied to the manually driven input shaft (second input shaft). A speed reducer having a simple structure and having no self-locking function is attached to the input side of the electrically driven input gear so that the rotation torque necessary to rotate the electrically driven input gear through the input switching clutch from the manually driven input shaft is larger than the rotation torque necessary to rotate the output shaft through the input switching clutch from the manually driven input shaft.

  • Patent number: 10359083
Abstract: In a locking type reverse input blocking clutch, smooth finished surfaces having no directionality are formed, by barrel polishing, on surfaces brought into contact with rollers while rotation is being transmitted from the input side to the output side, i.e. an inner peripheral cylindrical surface of an outer ring and a surface of a lid portion opposed to the rollers. With this arrangement, it is possible to reduce the sliding resistance between the rollers and the outer ring and between the rollers and the lid portion, without the need to reduce the forces of springs for pushing the rollers into narrow portions of wedge-shaped spaces. This in turn makes it possible to reduce the torque necessary to transmit rotation from the input side to the output side, while maintaining high locking performance.

  • Publication number: 20180347643
Abstract: A locking-type reverse input blocking clutch includes an unlocking piece having unlocking portions for unlocking an output-side member. The portion of the unlocking piece other than the unlocking portions (i.e., its longitudinally central portion and intermediate portions) is inserted in a recess formed in an inner ring of the output-side member so as to open to the end surface of the inner ring to which torque is applied, and open to the outer periphery of the inner ring so that the entire unlocking piece is located axially within the output-side member. This clutch is thus small in axial dimension, and compact in entire size.

  • Publication number: 20160282224
Abstract: An inspection method is provided which allows an operating state of a rotating machine component such as a bearing to be easily inspected by using a dedicated sensor and a portable information terminal. A general-purpose portable information terminal (2), and a dedicated sensor (3) connected thereto are used. Detection data detected by the dedicated sensor (3) is transmitted from the terminal (2) to a server (6), and the server (6) performs data processing and transmits a processing result to the terminal (2). The terminal (2) displays the result on a screen (21a). A detection time period during which the detection data supplied by the dedicated sensor (3) has been detected at one time is less than one rotation of a rotating machine component (1). It is possible for an operator to determine a malfunction in the component (1) on the basis of a plurality of results.

  • Publication number: 20150039243
Abstract: A portable-terminal-using inspection method for a rotating machine component allows an operating state of a rotating machine component such as a bearing to be easily inspected by using a popularized portable information terminal and a dedicated sensor that supplies detection information to the terminal. The state of the rotating machine component is detected by the sensor. Detection data regarding the detected state is supplied from the sensor to the terminal. Data processing is performed on the detection data in the terminal or a server connected to the terminal via a communication line, by using data processing software and specification data for the model number associated with the component, and a result of the data processing is displayed on a screen of the terminal.

  • Patent number: 8896297
Abstract: An angle detection error is prevented by using a columnar permanent magnet that is radially double-pole-magnetized as a rotating angle detecting sensor while preventing a gap between a plurality of magnetic sensors and an end face of the permanent magnet from being narrowed. The permanent magnet is a ferrite magnet or an alnico magnet having a diameter of 4 mm to 20 mm, and an axial length of 3 mm to 5 mm. The plurality of magnetic sensors detects radial magnetic flux densities at positions axially spaced 0.5 mm to 3.0 mm apart from a central portion of the permanent magnet, the central portion having a diameter equal to or smaller than 20% of the magnet diameter to make it possible to perform detection in a range in which a distribution curve of a radial magnetic flux density has a moderate inclination.

  • Patent number: 8589117
Abstract: A shaft and rolling bearings are mounted in the housing. A magnetic sensor is fixed to a first end surface of a shaft. A circuit board carrying a magnetic sensor is fixed to a surface of a lid of the housing at the second end. As a calibration voltage feed line, a cable is connected to the circuit board and extends outside through a hole formed through the lid. With the lid fixed in position, thereby applying a preload to rolling bearings, calibration voltage is supplied to the magnetic sensor through the calibration voltage feed line, thereby writing initial calibration parameters into the magnetic sensor from an external calibration device. After writing the parameters, the calibration voltage feed line is connected, at the outside, to a stabilizing output end of a power source input/output board fixed to the surface of the lid at the first end.

  • Patent number: 8339127
Abstract: In a rotation sensor unit, a lid 6 is pressed against a housing 2 to push an outer race 11 of a rolling bearing 1, thereby applying a preload to the bearing 1 and increasing the rigidity of the bearing 1, so as to prevent run-out of a shaft 3. An encoder 42 is supported on this shaft 3, and a magnetic sensor element 41 is supported on the lid 6, which is pressed against the housing 2. Thus, it is possible to prevent displacement of the magnetic sensor element 41 and the encoder 42 relative to each other. The shaft 3, lid 6 and outer race 11, etc. are made of a soft magnetic material to define a magnetically shielded space between one axial end surface of the shaft 3 and the lid 6, with the magnetic sensor element 41 mounted in the magnetically shielded space.

  • Patent number: 8151959
Abstract: A one-way clutch unit includes a one-way clutch and an unlocking member. The one-way clutch includes inner and outer races. Two pockets having wedge spaces having a wedge angle are formed between the inner and outer races. Several rolling elements are received in each pocket. The unlocking member includes an annular portion concentric with the inner race, and axially extending unlocking pieces each received in one of the pockets between the end of the pocket that faces the narrow ends of the wedge spaces having the wedge angle and the rolling elements. By externally actuating the unlocking member, the rolling elements are moved toward the wide ends of the respective wedge space having the wedge angle, thereby unlocking the clutch. Thus, it is possible to unlock the clutch and prevent transmission of torque to the output member while the input member is rotating in the forward direction.
