  • Patent number: 6233400
Abstract: A lens-fitted film unit is preloaded with photographic film, and has an eight-toothed driven sprocket wheel in mesh with perforations on the film. When the photographic film is fed by one frame, the sprocket is caused to make one rotation. A shutter mechanism is cocked responsive to rotation of the sprocket. During assembly of the film unit, the shutter mechanism is cocked. The photographic film is loaded while the shutter mechanism remains cocked. In a preferred embodiment, the sprocket is set in a predetermined rotated position which is two teeth short of the position at the end of one winding up of the film. This brings the shutter mechanism into an incompletely cocked state. The photographic film is loaded while the shutter mechanism remains in the incompletely cocked state. In the film unit, a film passageway is provided behind the main body, for passage of the film. A shiftable engaging portion projects into the film passageway in retractable fashion.

  • Patent number: 5979637
Abstract: A pallet conveyer for successively conveying a plurality of pallets to stations arranged in accordance with a sequence of steps to be executed on each of the pallets. The pallet conveyer comprises at least two intermittent conveyers disposed in series with and spaced apart from each other, and a supplementary conveyer mounted removably between the two intermittent conveyers. The intermittent conveyer is associated with at least one work station, and is driven intermittently at a speed and an interval according to location and working time of the associated work station. The supplementary conveyer is driven continuously to convey the pallets from the preceding to the following intermittent conveyer, while absorbing the difference in speed and interval between the two intermittent conveyers.

  • Patent number: 5655079
Abstract: A data transmission method is provided for a multi-computer system which has a plurality of computers mutually connected via a transmission line. The plurality of computers are divided into groups, with an address assigned to each group. Transmission data of a sending computer is provided with a location where the address is assigned and a location where a content code indicating the data content is assigned. The sending computer transmits the data with either the address or content code assigned, and the computers other than the sending computer decide whether or not to receive the data according to either the address or the content code.

  • Patent number: 5361366
Abstract: A loosely coupled multiprocessor computer includes an input/output control unit for fetching both a program and data derived from an external input device and also for outputting processed data to an external output device; storage for storing therein both the program and data inputted from said input/output control unit; process unit for sequentially executing a processing operation of the data based upon the program stored in the storage; and, a transmission medium for coupling the process unit, input/output control unit and storage with each other. In the loosely coupled multiprocessor computer, a serial transmission medium is employed as the transmission medium.

  • Patent number: 4960480
Abstract: In a magnetic disk cartridge, a magnetic disk sheet is accommodated in a casing in such a way that it may be rotated. A heat-sensitive adhesive is provided on one side of a raw sheet material composed of the same material as wear-resistant members which are to be bonded to the casing. The raw sheet material is cut into wear-resistant members and each of the wear-resistant members is heated in order to melt the heat-sensitive adhesive while the wear-resistant member is supported with a suction force. Then the wear-resistant member is released while the heat-sensitive adhesive is in a molten state, and it is pressed against the central portion of the inner surface of the casing. Thus the casing has a wear-resistant member bonded to a central portion of the inner surface of the casing.

  • Patent number: 4814927
Abstract: A magnetic disk cartridge comprises a hard case, a magnetic disk sheet rotatably housed in the hard case, and a disk-shaped or polygonal liner disposed between the magnetic disk sheet and an inner wall surface of the hard case for cleaning the recording surface of the magnetic disk sheet. Internal peripheral wall sections at corners of the hard case are formed by linear portions conforming with the outer shape of the polygonal liner, and curved portions conforming with the outer shape of the disk-shaped liner.

  • Patent number: 4566647
Abstract: In a decorative winding method for a magnetic tape or the like, a tape reel comprising a lower flange and a reel shaft one end of which is secured to the lower flange is supported with the other end of the reel shaft facing up. One end of a tape is clamped to the reel shaft, and the tape is wound up on the reel shaft while the tape is pushed onto the lower flange side by the weight of a cap placed on the upper side edge of the tape. An upper flange is then secured to the other end of the reel shaft, thereby obtaining the tape reel with the tape wound up in an aligned winding appearance.

  • Patent number: 4080648
Abstract: A micro program control system for use in a data processing system includes a subsidiary control memory for storing the first micro instructions of respective micro programs, and a control memory for storing the second and the remaining micro instructions of the respective micro programs. The subsidinary control memory is coupled to a main memory in which macro instructions of a program for the data processing system are stored. The operation code of the macro instruction includes a code to address the first micro instruction in the subsidiary control memory, so that one of the first micro instructions can be accessed to supply into a control register when the macro instruction is read out from the main memory to an instruction register of the data processing system, whereby control signals for controlling the operation of the data processing system are delivered from the control register according to the contents of the first micro instruction.
