    Abstract: A rechargeable battery is integrated with a battery protection circuit that protects the rechargeable battery from overcharging, over discharging, and so forth. A circuit board (9) on which are formed a battery protection circuit, a positive input and output terminal (4), and a temperature detection terminal (6) is disposed on a rechargeable battery (10) via a spacer (13), and the positive and negative electrodes of the rechargeable battery (10) are connected to the circuit board (9). This assembly is enveloped by a cover cap (15) and a cover plate (14), such that the positive input and output terminal (4) and the temperature detection terminal (6) are exposed to the outside through openings provided in the cover plate (14), and one end of the cover cap (15) in the same plane as these is used for connection as a negative input and output terminal (5).

    Abstract: An intermediate product is formed by combining together plurality of constituent elements. The intermediate product is arranged in a mold an then molten resin is charged in the mold. An opening is formed so as to correspond to a plus terminal, a minus terminal, and a temperature detecting terminal in the intermediate product, and its periphery is covered with the resin. Whereupon, a thin enclosed outer packaging body is realized that is made compact and offers excellent dust-proof, drip-proof structure. Alternatively, the intermediate product is housed in an outer packaging case having an open end that allows insertion of the intermediate product, and resin is charged in the open end, thereby achieving sealing.

    Abstract: A battery pack that reduces thickness and lightens weight as required for battery power sources of portable electronic equipment. A battery pack is constituted by accommodating a battery and battery protection device between a top case and bottom case forming a pack case. Since the battery is formed accommodated within an external casing wherein positive and negative electrode plates are formed by laminated sheet, reduced thickness and reduced weight of battery pack can be achieved. Also, since the face of bottom case opposite the battery is formed as a resiliently deformable face which is formed of small thickness, when expansion takes place such that the thickness of the battery as a whole increases, resiliently deformable face deforms maintaining a planar condition by resilient deformation, so that there is no possibility of an adverse effect on the equipment due to drum-shaped swelling being produced in battery pack, by such swelling.

    Abstract: A solid soap composition comprises a soap base and microcapsules dispersed therein, said microcapsules are prepared by using a hydrophobic liquid as a core material, forming microcapsules by covering the hydrophobic liquid with coacervate of a hydrophilic material, and then adding an electrolyte to a solution having the microcapsules dispersed therein in an amount of 8 to 100 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the water used in the microcapsules to dehydrate the microcapsule films. The microcapsules hardly disintegrate during the soap production process but do disintegrate during the use of the soap composition when contacted with water.
