    Abstract: To provide a lactic acid polymer composition excellent in transparency, heat resistance and productivity, a molded article, a sheet and a multilayer sheet each of which comprises the composition, a thermoformed article obtained by secondary-forming the sheet or the multilayer sheet, and a process for producing the thermoformed article with excellent productivity. The lactic acid polymer composition of the invention comprises 100 parts by weight of a lactic acid polymer (A), 0.1 to 3 parts by weight of an organic crystal nucleating agent (B) comprising an aliphatic carboxylic acid amide having an amide bond, and 0.1 to 7 parts by weight of a crystallization accelerator (C). The thermoformed article of the invention is obtained with excellent production efficiency by thermoforming the sheet comprising the composition of the invention at a temperature of 60 to 130° C.

The lactic acid-based resin composition has good physical properties in melt and can be efficiently formed into films and laminates through casting or extrusion lamination. The paper laminates obtained through extrusion lamination with the resin composition have good moisture barrier property, and have the advantages of good antibacterial ability, good biodegradability and low combustion heat. And the moldings obtained from the resin composition of the invention have a characteristic which is excellent in impact strength. Further, the films and sheets formed of the resin composition have good low-temperature heat-sealability and hot-tack sealability, and the resin composition well serves as a sealant.

    Abstract: The invention provides an aliphatic polyester resin composition that contains 100 parts by weight of an aliphatic polyester resin and from 10 to 60 parts by weight of at least one compound of a formula (1): wherein n indicates an integer of from 1 to 9, R1 to R4 each independently represent an alkyl group having from 1 to 17 carbon atoms, and when n is 2 or more, R3 may differ in different units, a film formed of the composition, and packages with the film. The aliphatic polyester film of the invention keeps the degradability in the natural environment that is intrinsic to lactic acid-based polymer, and has good heat resistance, flexibility, transparency and adhesiveness, and, in addition, the plasticizer does not migrate to the surface of the film.
