  • Patent number: 7831283
Abstract: A plural-data transmission Start message is transmitted prior to transmission of plural data to an intermittent operation type wireless communications terminal, and when transmission of plural data is completed, a plural-data transmission End message is transmitted. The terminal which received the plural-data transmission Start message can change over the sleep period of the aforesaid intermittent operation to a shorter sleep period. Thereby, an improvement in the response performance in the case of plural-data delivery can be simultaneously obtained while maintaining the low power performance of a sensor node.

  • Patent number: 7761561
Abstract: A sensor node may be used for another purpose for a moment and may also be replaced. By configuring, for a sensor node, a logic node which is provided with the physical node use information indicating whether or not the sensor node is in use and the logical node use information indicating whether or not the sensor node is provided as a logic node, a sensor node to be replaced may be specified based on the replacement request of the sensor node, a sensor node is selected which is configured as logic node providing the physical node use information indicating that the sensor node is not used and the logic node use information indicating that the sensor node is provided as the logic node, thus selected sensor node is identified as the replacing sensor node to achieve the replacement from the replaced sensor node to the replacing sensor node.

  • Patent number: 7705831
Abstract: A pad type input device is provided. The pad type input device includes an operation surface which includes a scroll area operated by an operation body. A detector is operative to detect a touch position of the operation body placed on the operation surface as positional information on a coordinate plane. A data processor is operative to acquire an operation signal obtained by the detector to perform a predetermined process. The data processor outputs a scroll signal that moves display contents in a predetermined scroll direction when the operation body placed on the scroll area is in a stop state where the operation body does not move, even after a predetermined time elapses.

  • Patent number: 7684152
Abstract: A disk drive with DTR media and method of assembly is described. The method may include aligning a discrete track recording (DTR) track pattern center on a DTR disk with a rotational center of a spindle hub and mounting the DTR disk on the spindle hub to minimize eccentricity. After the DTR disk is mounted to the spindle hub, it may be rotated to a designed rotational speed and the mass imbalance of the rotating DTR disk/spindle hub may be measured. The mass imbalance may be mitigated using a mechanical component such as a counter weight coupled to a spindle rotatable component, for example, the spindle hub, a spacer assembly, a clamp assembly, etc. The method may mitigate the eccentricity associated with DTR media and minimize run-out due to the mass imbalance of an otherwise rotated DTR disk/hub aligned for eccentricity correction.

  • Patent number: 7633490
Abstract: An input device is provided. The input device includes a key input unit having a plurality of input keys and an input operation unit. A key input monitor monitors a key input to the key input unit. A timer measures a setting time upon the key input. A relay driver is operative to acquire and output an operation signal output from the input operation unit as a control signal and monitor the operation signal. The key input monitor is operative to initiate the timer when the key input to the key input unit is detected and set the relay driver to an output inhibition state. The relay driver is operative to release the output inhibition state such that the control signal is normally output when it is detected that the operation signal is a predetermined operation input within the setting time.
