  • Patent number: 6229622
Abstract: When a single user prints out a large quantity of printed matter in a situation where the printer is shared by a plurality of users, other users must wait an extended period of time regardless of the quantity of material which they are to print out. Accordingly, the inventive printer stores received print data upon classifying the print data according to independent spool areas that correspond to respective ones of the users. At printout, fixed quantities of data are printed from the respective spool areas in regular order. Even if there is a user printing out a large quantity of printed matter, other users who are to print out small quantities of printed matter need not wait for the end of the large printing job.

  • Patent number: 5772010
Abstract: A push button switch for use with an operating key of electronic appliances having a long working stroke, a clear step feeling during the switching operation, and an overstroke after switching is complete. The switch contains a pressure member 17 made of elastic material disposed between the push button 18 and movable contact point 16. As the domed movable contact point 16 is pressed during the switching operation via the pressure member 17, the working stroke of the switch can be made longer for a quantity equivalent to that of the compression deformation in the pressure member 17, before and after the reversal action of the domed movable contact point 16. Also, there is provided a clearance for outward expansion for the top extrusion of the pressure member 17 during compression deformation. Due to the alignment of these components, the possibility of the pressure member 17 and push button 18 dislocating or rattling is minimized.

  • Patent number: 4019137
Abstract: A long-scale moving coil instrument of the type comprising a frame, means including an arcuate core member secured to the frame for forming a magnetic circuit path, and a mounting member carrying a moving coil over the core member and being suspended for rotation relative to the frame by means of tension bands secured to bosses on the mounting member. The instrument is characterized by a pair of boss-stoppers made of an elastic, electrically insulating material. Each boss-stopper supports a tension spring, lies in a through-hole provided in the frame, and has a central passage through which the tension bands extend for connection to the tension springs, the passages additionally receiving the bosses on the coil mounting member to limit movement thereof. With this arrangement, electrical connections to the moving coil may be effected by means of the tension bands while maintaining the electrical connections isolated from the frame with the electrically insulating boss-stoppers.
