  • Publication number: 20170078019
Abstract: In an information presenting method, visible light including unique information, which is unique to a passenger carrier and specific to a location of the carrier, is emitted. The light is received in the passenger space and the unique information is obtained. One or more stop points at which the carrier is currently stopped or is to subsequently stop are obtained. The one or more stop points are derived from the unique information. An alighting point at which a user is to alight from the carrier is obtained. Whether the alighting point is included in the one or more stop points is determined. Alighting information notifying the user to alight from the bus is presented to the user via a terminal, when the alighting point is determined to be included in the one or more stop points.

  • Patent number: 7708440
Abstract: An electric ballast attached to the outside of a lighting system. The system comprises a lamp housing with front and rear openings, a front lens closing the front opening, a discharge lamp put in the housing, and a reflector that reflects light of the lamp toward the lens. The ballast comprises: a ballast housing which closes the rear opening and is connected with frame ground via at least one of the lamp housing and the reflector; a lamp socket and an igniter, put in the front of the ballast housing; and a power converter put in the ballast housing. The output of the converter is connected with the socket, which directly connects with the lamp, and the igniter is connected between them. Heat generating parts of the converter are put in the rear of the ballast housing, and the rear functions as a radiator.

  • Patent number: 5384518
Abstract: A power source device includes a voltage converting means to input side of which a DC voltage source is connected and to output side of which a capacitance element and a load circuit are connected, while a control circuit is connected to the voltage converting means and the load circuit, the latter circuit having a load impedance made lower upon starting of a load in the load circuit than that in stable lighting of the load, wherein such control constant as oscillation frequency and duty are made to be substantially constant at the time of the starting and stable lighting of the load, and a switching means in the voltage converting means is turned OFF when the capacitance element has a voltage below a predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 4690764
Abstract: This invention provides an aerator comprising a jet stream generator for ejecting a gas and a liquid in a mixed state from a nozzle, and a tubular flow straightener for mixing the bubble-containing stream ejected from the nozzle with ambient water and discharging the resulting mixture from the discharge orifice thereof, characterized in that the flow straightener has a tubular form whose internal diameter is reduced from the inlet toward the discharge orifice through at least a part of its length. This aerator can produce a stream containing minute gas bubbles, even when a gas is supplied thereto in such a large amount as to give a gas-to-liquid volume ratio of 3/1.
