Abstract: A process for imparting releasing property to a mold which comprises applying to the mold a composition comprising:(A) (1) a fluorine-containing urethane compound represented by the formula ##STR1## and/or (2) a fluorine-containing urethane compound represented by the formula ##STR2## and/or (3) a fluorine-containing urethane compound represented by the formula ##STR3## and (B) at least one of members selected from the class consisting of silicone oil, silicone varnish, wax and a highly fluorinated organic compound and the mold release composition used for the process.

Abstract: A fluorine-containing urethane compounds represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.f represents a perfluoroalkyl group having 4 to 20 carbon atoms; X represents --CH.sub.2 CH(A)--, --C.sub.k H.sub.2k -- or --SO.sub.2 N(R.sup.3)C.sub.t H.sub.2t -- (in which A represents a methyl group or ethyl group; k and t are an integer of 1 to 4; and R.sup.3 is hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group); R.sup.1 represents a n-valent organic group; R.sup.2 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; n is an integer of 2 to 10; and m is an integer in the range of n.gtoreq.m.gtoreq.1, subject to the limitation that when n is 2, m is 2 and R.sup.1 is ##STR2## (in which Y is a divalent organic group) and a water and oil-repelling agent and a non-sticking agent containing the compound as the active ingredient.

Abstract: A perfluoroalkylvinyl copolymer comprising (a) repeating units of the formula:--CHRfCH.sub.2 -- (I)wherein Rf is a C.sub.5 -C.sub.21 perfluoroalkyl group, and (b) repeating units of the formula: ##STR1## wherein Y is --OR.sup.1, --OCOR.sup.1 or --COOR.sup.1 and Z is a hydrogen atom or --COOR.sup.2 in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are, the same or different, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkyl group with the proviso that when Y is --OR.sup.1 or --OCOR.sup.1, Z is an hydrogen atom, and R is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkyl group, which is useful as a mold release agent, a water- and oil-repellent and a non-tackifier.

Abstract: A novel copolymer comprising(a) repeating units of the formula:--OCH[(CH.sub.2).sub.p R.sub.f ]CH.sub.2 -- (Ia)or--OCH.sub.2 CH[(CH.sub.2).sub.p R.sub.f ]-- (Ib)wherein R.sub.f is C.sub.3 -C.sub.21 perfluoroalkyl and p is an integer of 1 to 10 and(b) repeating units of the formula:--(OCH.sub.2).sub.m (CH.sub.2).sub.n -- (II)wherein m is an integer of 1 to 4 and n is an integer of 2 to 10 when m is 1, an integer of 1 to 8 when m is 2 or an integer of 0 to (12-2m) when m is 3 or 4,--OCH.sub.2 CR.sup.1 R.sup.2 CH.sub.2 -- (III)wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each hydrogen, CH.sub.3, CH.sub.2 Cl, CH.sub.2 F, CH.sub.2 OCH.sub.3, CH.sub.2 OC.sub.2 H.sub.5, CH.sub.2 OCOCH.sub.3, CH.sub.2 OC.sub.6 H.sub.5, CH.sub.2 OH or CH.sub.2 CN provided that at least one of them is not hydrogen,--OCH.sub.2 (OCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2).sub.q -- (IV)wherein q is 2 or 3, and/or--[(R.sup.3).sub.r --COO]-- (V)wherein R.sup.3 is CH.sub.2 or CF.sub.

Abstract: A composition for preventing the adhesion of an epoxy resin which comprises a polymer of (A) at least one C.sub.4 to C.sub.21 perfluoroalkyl group-containing polymerizable compound with or without at least one compound copolymerizable therewith, the content of the component (A) being not less than 40% by weight on the weight of the polymer.

Abstract: A water and oil repellent essentially consisting of a copolymer comprising units of (a) at least one of fluoroalkyl group-containing polymerizable compounds and of (b) at least one of 2-hydroxy-3-chloropropyl acrylate and methacrylate of the formula:CH.sub.2 .dbd.CRCOOCH.sub.2 CH(OH)CH.sub.2 Clwherein R is hydrogen or methyl, which is highly resistant to laundering and dry cleaning.
