  • Publication number: 20200217367
Abstract: A motor includes a rotor, a stator, a bearing, a motor housing, and a sealing member. The rotor includes a shaft. The stator faces the rotor in a radial direction. The bearing supports the rotor such that the rotor is able to rotate about the central axis. The motor housing surrounds at least a part of the stator. The sealing member includes a tubular part and a cover part. The tubular part extends in the axial direction and has an inner surface that faces an outer surface of the shaft in the radial direction with a gap interposed therebetween in the radial direction. The cover part extends inward from an inner surface of the tubular part in the radial direction. The cover part has a through-hole that penetrates therethrough in the axial direction on an inner side from an outer end of the shaft in the radial direction.

  • Publication number: 20200067372
Abstract: A motor includes a rotor including a shaft that is disposed along a central axis extending vertically, a stator disposed to face the rotor in a radial direction, a first bearing that is disposed above the stator and supports the rotor so as to be rotatable about the central axis with respect to the stator, and a motor housing that houses at least a portion of the stator. The motor housing includes a first cylindrical portion that is disposed radially outward of the first bearing, extends downward, and has a cylindrical shape, a first top plate portion that extends radially inward from a lower end of the first cylindrical portion, and a second cylindrical portion that extends downward from a radially inner end of the first top plate portion and includes a cylindrical shape. The radially inner surface of the second cylindrical portion is positioned such that a gap is defined between the radially inner surface of the second cylindrical portion and the radially outer surface of the shaft in the radial direction.

  • Publication number: 20190103783
Abstract: A motor includes a shaft disposed along a central axis, a rotor fixed to the shaft and capable of rotating around the central axis, a stator outside of the rotor, a first housing including a cylindrical portion and disposed on an outside of the stator, and a second housing disposed on an upper side of the first housing. The second housing includes a top plate and projected portions extending downward and spaced apart. Ribs extending from both end portions of the projected portion in the circumferential direction to an inside in the radial direction as viewed in the axial direction are disposed on a lower surface of the top plate.

  • Publication number: 20190081528
Abstract: A motor includes a rotor that includes a shaft disposed along a central axis extending vertically, a stator that faces the rotor in a radial direction, a bearing section that supports the rotor such that the rotor is rotatable with respect to the stator, and a bracket that holds the bearing section. The bracket includes a cylindrical bracket portion that is disposed outwardly of the bearing section in the radial direction, and a bracket bottom portion that includes a bracket opening portion. The bearing section includes a bearing that rotatably supports the shaft, and a plate portion disposed below the bearing and extending in a direction orthogonal to the central axis. At least a portion of the plate portion faces the bracket opening portion in an axial direction.

  • Publication number: 20160190881
Abstract: A motor includes a stationary unit and a rotary unit arranged to rotate with respect to the stationary unit about a center axis extending in an up-down direction. The rotary unit includes a substantially cylindrical rotor holder, a plurality of magnets disposed radially inward of the rotor holder and arranged along a circumferential direction, and a non-magnetic magnet holder fixed to an inner circumferential surface of the rotor holder and arranged to hold the magnets. The magnet holder includes a plurality of pillars extending in the up-down direction and arranged to position the magnets in the circumferential direction, and a first ring and a second ring arranged to interconnect the pillars at positions spaced apart in the up-down direction. The first ring is positioned radially outward of the second ring, and the second ring is positioned radially inward of outer circumferential surfaces of the pillars.
