  • Patent number: 12187042
Abstract: A printing apparatus includes a liquid storing container including a storage chamber configured to store a liquid supplied to a printing unit that prints an image by discharging the liquid, an outlet portion of the liquid, and a channel configured to connect the storage chamber and the outlet portion. The liquid storing container includes a first side portion on a side of a print region where printing is executed by the printing unit, and a second side portion on an opposite side of the first side portion, and the channel is formed in the second side portion.

  • Patent number: 12162286
Abstract: A recording apparatus includes a recording head having discharge orifices arranged on a discharge orifice surface, a cap, a wiper, and a moving unit that moves the wiper in a first direction. When the cap covers the discharge orifice surface, a first member is disposed at an inside wall of the cap at a position near a first side of a region having the discharge orifices, and a second member is disposed at another inside wall of the cap at a position near a second side of the region having the discharge orifices. The first side faces in a direction opposite to the first direction and the second side faces in the first direction. In a direction normal to the discharge orifice surface, a distance between the second member and the discharge orifice surface is smaller than a distance between the first member and the discharge orifice surface.

  • Publication number: 20040026177
Abstract: An elevator is capable of transmitting signals between an elevator control unit and a car control unit without using tail cords. Resin-coated ropes for suspending an elevator car and a counterweight comprise conductive metal wires. Transmitter-receivers use the conductive metal wires of the ropes for contactless signal transmission. The conductive metal wires of the two ropes are connected in rope-anchoring parts to form an electrical closed loop for signal transmission.

  • Patent number: 5735156
Abstract: A method of forming a non-circular pipe having a different sectional shape in the longitudinal direction thereof by bending a raw pipe while applying pressure to the inside of the raw pipe, wherein the circumference of a section of the raw pipe is substantially equalized to the circumference of a section, corresponding to the section of the raw pipe, of the non-circular pipe after formed.

  • Patent number: 4730474
Abstract: A method of relieving residual stress in a metal pipe comprises the steps of applying, by using a pressure medium, a low pressure to an interior of the metal pipe placed in dies, and applying, while preventing the buckling, an axial compression load to the pipe so as to effect a uniform plastic deformation of the entire metal pipe while maintaining the desired shape of the pipe, thereby relieving the residual stress in the metal pipe.
