    Abstract: A vehicle seat component includes: a seat pad having a seating portion and an outer portion; and a seat cover serving as an outer cover material being bonded to the seat pad, wherein at least a part of the seat cover at which the seat cover is bonded to the outer portion, is provided with an extension part that extends from an end of the outer portion at a side opposite to the seating portion, wherein the outer portion is provided with a groove at a rear surface part of the seat pad, the groove extending along the end and having a bottom surface at a position closer to the seating portion with respect to the rear surface part, and wherein at least a part of the extension part is integrally bonded to a wall surface of the groove by the integral foam-molding.

    Abstract: The objective of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a vehicle seat pad, in which it is difficult for aldehydes to be dispersed, in a favorably curable manner. The method for producing a vehicle seat pad and containing a step (I) for obtaining a flexible polyurethane foam by reacting an active hydrogen component (A) and an organic polyisocyanate (B) in the presence of a foaming agent (C), a urethanation agent (D), a foam stabilizer (E), and an additive (F), wherein (C) contains water, (F) contains at least one selected from the group consisting of the urea compound (F1) indicated by general formula (1), an amino acid (F2), and a polyvalent phenol (F3), and the flexible polyurethane foam has a core density of 25-90 kg/m3, a resilience of 50-75%, and a hardness (25%-ILD) of 150-400 N/cm2.

    Abstract: There is provided a vehicle seat including a seat structure member which has a frame member which configures a seat framework, a pad member which configures an outer shape of the seat and is configured to elastically support an occupant, and a sheet-like elastic fiber body which is disposed on a rear surface of the pad member. The pad member is disposed on the frame member while the elastic fiber body contacting the frame member. The elastic fiber body includes protrusions which protrude toward the frame member and recesses which are closer to the pad member than the protrusions, and the elastic fiber body is configured to come into point or line contact with the frame member by the protrusions.
