  • Patent number: 9748534
Abstract: When a battery pack is mounted to a battery attachment part, the battery pack is slid in a horizontal direction (a direction substantially perpendicular to an upper-lower direction) with respect to the housing, e.g., along a long longitudinal direction of a battery-side rail part, such that tool-side rail parts of the battery attachment part are introduced into engaging recess portions of the battery pack. Thereby, the elastic members are fitted and compressed in the battery-side rail parts and the tool-side rail parts, so that the elastic members press upwards the battery-side rail part (e.g., the battery pack) and press downwards the tool-side rail parts (e.g., the housing). That is, the elastic members press the battery pack and the housing such that they come close to each other.

  • Patent number: 9670998
Abstract: An oscillation tool includes a grip-portion housing and a front-side housing which are fitted to each other so as to freely slide on each other. In the case that a driving unit and an oscillating unit are distanced from each other, the oscillating shaft is oscillated at a narrow amplitude. On the other hand, in a case that the driving unit and the oscillating unit are approached by each other, the oscillating shaft is oscillated at a wide amplitude.

  • Publication number: 20170036327
Abstract: Provided is an impact type electric tool. A striking mechanism is used, which uses a hammer having striking claws that are equally arranged in the rotational direction and an anvil having struck claws. A relationship between a striking energy E, which the hammer has right before striking the anvil, and a disengaging torque TB, which is applied between the hammer and the anvil right before the hammer is disengaged from the anvil, is set as 5.3×TB<E<9.3×TB in the case of three claws and set as 9.3×TB<E<15.0×TB in the case of two claws, so as to perform striking by skipping one of the claws of the hammer and the anvil when a high torque is required. Accordingly, the electric tool achieves output of a high torque while maintaining a favorable operational feeling during striking.

  • Publication number: 20140321034
Abstract: A battery pack allowing a gap between an electrical device and the battery pack to be narrowed is provided. The battery pack has a housing case that is slidably attached/detached to/from the electrical device, and an elastic member that exerts a force acting in a direction of causing a mounting unit provided to the electrical device and the housing case to move closer to each other.

  • Publication number: 20140123785
Abstract: An amplitude of an oscillating shaft to which a tip tool is attached is changed. An oscillation tool 10 includes a grip-portion housing 11 and a front-side housing 12 which are fitted to each other so as to freely slide on each other. An electric motor 13 is housed in the grip-portion housing 11, and a spindle 18 including an eccentric shaft 17 is fixed at the electric motor 13. A blade 35 and a swing arm 37 are fixed at an oscillating shaft 31 to be housed in the front-side housing 12. The rotary motion of the spindle 18 is converted to the oscillating motion of the oscillating shaft 31 through the swing arm 37. In the case that a driving unit 20 on the electric motor 13 side and an oscillating unit 40 on the swing arm 37 side are distanced from each other so that a center axis C3 of the oscillating shaft 31 and a contact point of a bearing 19 onto arm pieces 39 are distanced from each other (by a distance L1), the oscillating shaft 31 is oscillated at a narrow amplitude X1.
