  • Publication number: 20210123447
Abstract: An air flow generation structural body includes a main body disposed in a gap between an attachment target to which a sealing device is attached and a disc-shaped member that is integrated with a shaft member so as to extend from the shaft member toward an outer periphery side. The shaft member passes through a through-hole in the attachment target and is rotatable around an axis. The main body is attached to the shaft member so as to be rotatable together with the shaft member. The air flow generation structural body further includes a plurality of blade portions formed on an outer peripheral surface g of the main body to generate an air current. Each of the blade portions extends along a centrifugal direction perpendicular to the axis x and is parallel to the axis x.

  • Patent number: 10663031
Abstract: To provide a sealing structure with an annular pocket and a sealing apparatus that can efficiently reduce exposure of a seal lip of the sealing apparatus to foreign matter entering from the outside. In a sealing structure (1) with a torsional damper and an oil seal, a hub pocket (30) has an outer circumferential surface (31) in an annular shape centered about an axis x that extends along the axis x and is formed in an outer shell part (33) that is opposed to a shaft member on an outer periphery side, a dust discharging hole (36s) or a dust discharging groove (36sa) connected to the hub pocket (30) is formed in the outer shell part (33), and the dust discharging hole (36s) or the dust discharging groove (36sa) is inclined at a predetermined angle in such a manner that a discharge opening (36sout) is directed in an opposite direction to a rotational direction of the shaft member.

  • Patent number: 10190689
Abstract: A seal ring capable of stably reducing a rotational torque while preventing the leakage of sealed fluid. The seal ring includes: an abutment joint part (110) provided at one portion in a circumferential direction thereof; a plurality of dynamic pressure generation grooves (120) provided at intervals in the circumferential direction on a side of a sliding surface thereof sliding on a lateral wall surface of an annular groove; and foreign matter discharging grooves (130) that are provided between a region in which the plurality of dynamic pressure generation grooves (120) is arranged and the abutment joint part (110) in the circumferential direction on the side of the sliding surface sliding on the lateral wall surface, and that are capable of catching foreign matter intruding from the abutment joint part (110) and discharging the caught foreign matter to an outside of a sliding part between the seal ring and the lateral wall surface.

  • Patent number: 9726290
Abstract: A seal structure has one metal gasket arranged between a pair of casings. The metal gasket is provided with a planate outer peripheral portion and a bead portion which is formed by rising up from an inner peripheral end portion of the outer peripheral portion, and is arranged so that the bead portion comes into contact with the one casing, and the outer peripheral portion comes into contact with the other casing. The bead portion elastically deforms so as to reduce its height and the outer peripheral portion elastically deforms on the basis of the elastic deformation of the bead portion, when the metal gasket is pinched by the pair of casings, and a leading end of the outer peripheral portion comes into contact with one casing at this time, whereby any gap in which salt water stays is not formed between one casing and the metal gasket.
