  • Patent number: 9215526
Abstract: A circuit for detecting microphone pin assignment and method thereof is provided. The circuit includes a pin switch unit and a detection unit. The pin switch unit switches the pin assignment of a headset connector. The detection unit receives microphone signals and outputs a test voltage to the microphone. According to the voltage difference between the pins, the pin assignment of the headset is determined and the pin switch unit automatically switches to the correct pins.

  • Patent number: 9131580
Abstract: The present invention discloses a backlight driving circuit applied to an electronic device. The backlight driving circuit includes a light-emitting diode unit, a photosensitive element, and a control circuit. The light-emitting diode unit has an anode terminal and a cathode terminal. The photosensitive element is coupled between the cathode terminal of the light-emitting diode unit and a ground, wherein the resistance of the photosensitive element changes with the ambient light level around the electronic device. The control circuit includes a sensing terminal and an output terminal. The sensing terminal receives a feedback voltage. The output terminal provides a power source to the anode terminal of the light-emitting diode unit according to the feedback voltage to control the luminance of the light-emitting diode unit, wherein the feedback voltage is decided by the resistance of the photosensitive element.

  • Patent number: 8712018
Abstract: A testing apparatus and a testing method for a telephone apparatus are disclosed. The testing apparatus includes an audio generator, an audio signal processor, and a noise analyzer. The audio generator transmits a testing audio signal to a receiver of the telephone apparatus. The audio signal processor receives the testing audio signal and an output audio signal. The audio signal processor performs a time-to-frequency transformation operation on a difference between the testing audio signal and the output audio signal to obtain a noise information. The noise analyzer receives the noise information and obtains a maximum noise component among a plurality of noise components respectively corresponding to frequencies in the noise information. The noise analyzer compares the maximum noise component with a predetermined threshold to generate a testing result of the telephone apparatus.
