  • Patent number: 7663608
Abstract: A handwriting input apparatus comprises a position-encoding layer and a pen. The position-encoding layer comprises a plurality of position-encoding pattern. The position-encoding layer is transparent to visible light and is reflective to light of predetermined wavelengths. Each position-encoding pattern represents a specific code. The pen has a projector and a camera at one end. The projector is adapted to generate a light beam of the predetermined wavelengths toward the position-encoding layer. The camera is adapted to capture images of the plurality of position-encoding pattern.

  • Publication number: 20060132679
Abstract: A LCD comprises a color filter and a backlight source. The color filter has a plurality of green filter units having transmittance ranging from about 0.1% to about 60% at an optical wavelength of 500nm, and a plurality of blue filter units having transmittance ranging from about 0.1% to about 50% at the optical wavelength of 500nm. The backlight source comprises a first phosphor with a first peak emission wavelength between 440nm and 460nm, a second phosphor with a second peak emission wavelength between 540nm and 550nm, and a third phosphor with third peak emission wavelength between 500nm and 530nm. The intensity ratio of the second peak emission wavelength to the first peak emission wavelength ranges from 0 to about 3.6, and the intensity ratio of the third peak emission wavelength to the first peak emission wavelength ranges from about 0.8 to about 2.7.

  • Publication number: 20050259037
Abstract: A closed type AC plasma display panel. A first substrate and a second substrate are provided with a predetermined gap therebetween. Barrier ribs are interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The barrier ribs define a plurality sets of a first, a second and a third discharge cell. A plurality of address electrodes is formed on the first substrate in the first, the second, and the third discharge cells along a first direction, and a plurality of sustain electrodes formed on the second substrate in the first, the second, and the third discharge cells along a second direction, wherein each area of the sustain electrodes are substantially equal and at least one area of the address electrodes is different from others area of the address electrodes in the first, the second, and the third discharge cells.
