  • Patent number: 8839935
Abstract: A transmission device includes a mounting frame having an abutting member, a driving sleeve sleeved fixedly on a drive shaft extending through the base plate, a transmission wheel sleeved rotatably on the driving sleeve, and a connecting post extending through a radially extending through hole in the transmission wheel and into a spiral first guiding groove in the driving sleeve having opposite first and second ends. A position-limiting member is disposed rotatably on a side surface of the transmission wheel. A ball is disposed in a ball-receiving hole in the position-limiting member and is movable in a curved second guiding groove in the side surface of the transmission wheel having a shallower first end and a deeper second end. When the drive shaft rotates regularly and reversely, the ball is spaced apart from the abutting member.

  • Patent number: 8365874
Abstract: An electric parking brake actuator has an actuator device, a brake device and a cable-tension measuring device. The brake device has a cable and a tube assembly. The cable is mounted through the actuator device. The tube assembly is mounted around the cable and has a first tube, a second tube, a spring, a Hall IC and a magnet. The cable-tension measuring device has a first member and a second member which are mounted around the cable. The second member is capable of moving toward the first member relatively. The compressible spring is mounted between and abuts the first member and the second member. The Hall IC and the magnet are respectively mounted securely on the first member and the second member. The Hall IC is capable of measuring how much the spring is compressed to further measure the tension of the cable.

  • Patent number: 8051956
Abstract: A driving device for a parking brake system includes a casing shift member, a brake cable and a driving member. The casing shift member includes a cable casing. The brake cable is mounted through the cable casing. The driving member has a driving unit connected to and driving the casing shift member to perform a longitudinal motion. Thus the cable casing applies a force on the brake cable so as to perform a brake work. Because the brake cable is tightened with the force provided by the cable casing, the brake cable is only bent slightly. Thus the curvature of the brake cable is small. That prevents the brake cable from being damaged and prolongs a life span of the brake cable. Moreover, a mechanical efficiency of the driving device is improved because the brake cable is tightened with the force provided by the cable casing.
