    Abstract: A mobile communication device having a reception circuit, a transmission circuit, and a processing unit is provided. The reception circuit and the transmission circuit are configured to receive and transmit wireless signals, respectively. The processing unit activates the reception circuit for a portion of a downlink time interval for receiving Control Channel (CCH) data and one or more Reference Signal (RS) symbols or traffic data symbols beyond the CCH data, and deactivates the reception circuit for the remaining portion of the downlink time interval. Also, the processing unit activates the transmission circuit for a portion of an uplink time interval for transmitting traffic data, determines a radio signal quality with regard to the transmission of the traffic data, and deactivates the transmission circuit for the remaining portion of the uplink time interval when the radio signal quality exceeds a predetermined threshold.

    Abstract: A portable hearing test apparatus is arranged in an earphone and includes a microphone, an automatic noise elimination module, a mixer and an output unit. The microphone receives an external noise signal. The automatic noise elimination module converts the external noise signal into an inverse acoustic signal and sends the inverse acoustic signal to the mixer to mix with an audio signal provided by an electronic apparatus to obtain a mixed signal. Amplitude of the inverse acoustic signal is equal to amplitude of the external noise signal. Phase of the inverse acoustic signal and phase of the external noise signal are reverse. The mixer sends the mixed signal to the output unit to send out to cancel out the external noise signal, so that only the audio signal provided by the electronic apparatus is heard. A hearing test is proceeded with the audio signal.

The welding pads are arranged on two sides of the support plate respectively. The sensors with environment volume monitoring, voice control and different functions are integrated into the microphone component to achieve the smart microphone with a small volume and multi-functions.

    Abstract: A technique to grow high quality and large area ZnSe layer on Si substrate is provided, comprising growing GexSi1?x/Ge epitaxial layers on Si substrate by using ultra-high vacuum chemical vapor deposition (UHVCVD), and finally growing a ZnSe film on top Ge buffer layers. Two concepts are applied in the process of this invention, the first one is to block the dislocations generated from GexSi1?x epitaxial layers and to terminate the propagated upward dislocations by using strained interfaces, accordingly the dislocation density of ZnSe layer is greatly reduced and the surface roughness is improved; the second concept is to solve the problems of anti-phase domain due to growth of polar materials on non-polar material using off-cut angle Si substrate, and that is free from diffusion problems between different atoms while generally growing ZnSe layers on Si substrate.
