    Abstract: An impact resistant housing used to house devices to split, amplify, or modulate signals for CATV, satellite and phone systems comprises a base and a cover. The base includes a bottom, a top opening, and a peripheral recession portion that is recessed from internal walls of the base and located adjacent to the top opening. The cover includes an internal surface. The internal surface has peripheries soldered to the peripheral recession portion of the base and a protruded portion that is provided peripherally and located adjacent to the peripheries of the cover. When the cover is soldered to the base, the protruded portion of the cover borders with the internal walls of the base. By such structural design, the circuit board and electrical signal lines placed in the housing can be protected when the case is impacted by external force.

    Abstract: A coaxial cable adaptor comprises a body, a conductor disposed inside the body and insulation linings disposed between the body and the conducting tubular conductor. A plurality conducting plates separated by gaps is disposed at two ends of the tubular conductor respectively, and an accommodating groove is formed between the conducting plates at each of the two ends for inserting coaxial cable cores. Middle section areas of the conducting plates are depressed toward the accommodating groove, and an arch flange is protrudingly formed on the middle section area of each of the conducting plates facing towards the accommodating groove. Thereby, the coaxial cable cores inserted in the accommodating groove can be clamped tightly by the tubular conductor through the elasticity of the arch flanges of the conducting plates in order to allow stable transmittance of high frequency signals.
