Patent number: 7516695Abstract: A rotary ring (34) formed such that an outer circumference is eccentric with respect to an inner circumference is provided to an outer circumference of an eccentric drum (333) of an eccentric shaft (33). An adjustment ring (41) formed such that an outer circumference is eccentric with respect to an inner circumference is provided to the outer circumference of the rotary ring (34), and a slide (5) is mounted to the outer circumference of the adjustment ring (41). Since the slide (5) and a slide drive unit (30) are arranged to be superposed substantially at the same height, a distance between the slide drive unit (30) and a lower end of the slide (5) can be reduced and the entire height of a servo press (1) can be reduced. In addition, since the height position of the slide (5) can be finely adjusted by rotating the adjustment ring (41), a press working can be performed with high accuracy.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2006Date of Patent: April 14, 2009Assignees: Komatsu Ltd., Komatsu Industries Corp.Inventors: Kiyokazu Baba, Seiji Seki, Shouji Watanabe, Yuichi Suzuki

Patent number: 7267632Abstract: A controller (50) controls the supply of oil pressure to a primary pulley (41) and a secondary pulley (42) of a belt-drive continuously variable transmission (1) in accordance with the depression amount of an accelerator pedal (81) of a vehicle. When slippage is detected in a V-belt (43) that is wrapped around the primary pulley (41) and secondary pulley (42), the controller (50) reduces the output torque of an engine (70) of the vehicle to stop the V-belt (43) from slipping. Meanwhile, damage to the V-belt (43) caused by slippage is prevented by reducing the oil pressure supply to the secondary pulley (42).Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 2004Date of Patent: September 11, 2007Assignee: JATCO LtdInventors: Tatsuo Ochiai, Hideki Oshita, Hiroyasu Tanaka, Shouji Watanabe

Patent number: 6151893Abstract: A flexible tube for an automobile exhaust system which has a bellow assembly to absorb the first exhaust pipe and the second exhaust pipe for the an exhaust system having a cylindrical outer cover (5) made of plate to cover the outer periphery of the bellows (3)1 the first collar (7') and the second collar (7") with the risers (7a', 7a") bent toward the inner surface (5a) of the outer cover (5); the first elongation displacement stopper member (6') and the second elongation member displacement stopper member (6") respectively formed by bending the inner side of the outer cover (5); and the first elastic stopper member (8') and the second elastic stopper member (8") provided at the risers (7a', 7a") of both collars (7', 7"). As a further modification, the second outer cover (9) may be provided inside of the outer cover (5) to form displacement stoppers (9a, 9b) by bending the both end portions of the second outer cover.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 1998Date of Patent: November 28, 2000Assignee: Calsonic CorporationInventors: Shouji Watanabe, Hiroyuki Aihara, Tadashi Nakasuji, Eizo Suyama, Katsuyuki Okada

Patent number: 5682566Abstract: A contact position at which the photographic film sent out from a film cartridge first contacts a film guide means is determined in such a manner that the photographic film does not contact a film entrance of the film cartridge when a film winding diameter in the film cartridge is at its maximum, and that only the edges of the photographic film, which curls in a direction of its breadth, which is not an image area, contacts the film entrance when the film winding diameter is at its minimum. As a result, the image area on the film is not damaged if the film is transported back and forth many times, and dust which causes damage to the film can be reduced.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 1995Date of Patent: October 28, 1997Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Makoto Nakazawa, Masaaki Orimoto, Sueo Itoh, Shouji Watanabe
