  • Patent number: 11514817
Abstract: The present invention discloses completely digitized, smart, interactive and connected system (100) for braille learning. The invention also provides platform for consuming coupled audio-braille tactile lessons that include voice and braille data input or output serving as educational tool for visually challenged. The smart interactive system comprises a braille keyboard (117), a digital braille 10 slate (116), a proximity touch sensor (120) for input, a large braille display (110) and standard braille display (108), a vibration motor (119) and a speaker (113) for haptic and audio data output. The digital braille slate (116) gives both mechanical tactile feedback and audio feedback via speaker (115) as each braille dots are pressed using the stylus (306). The system (100) is connected to the internet 15 allowing for remote software and content updates and upload of data on usage metrics.

  • Publication number: 20200028686
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a secure biometric template. The methods comprise: obtaining biometric data from an individual, the biometric data represented as a real-valued feature vector x; mapping the real-valued feature vector x to an integer-valued feature vector X by multiplying each component of the real-valued feature vector x by a value s and performing a nearest integer function using results of the multiplying; and generating the secure biometric template by a cryptographic algorithm using the integer-valued feature vector X. s is a function of n, p and . n is the length of the real-valued feature vector x. p is a known parameter of a distance function used to determine a distance between two biometric templates. is a parameter controlling the accuracy preserving feature of the present solution. The secure biometric template is used for computer security purposes.

  • Patent number: 10291639
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method comprises presenting a graphical user interface that includes a plurality of user selectable buttons, each button corresponding to a customizable variable of a step in a sequence, and receiving, based on user input, a selection of one of the plurality of user selectable buttons. The method further comprises providing, based on the selection, a plurality of options for the variable corresponding to the selected button, determining a designation of at least one option for one or more variables in a first step and a designation of at least one option for one or more variables in a second step, and generating, based on the determined designations, a custom sequence detector comprising at least the first step and the second step.

  • Patent number: 10192058
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a computer-implemented method comprises determining a first threat score and a second threat score respectively corresponding to a first user action and a second user action on one or more computer applications and calculating an aggregate threat score for the determined threat scores. Calculating the aggregate threat score comprises summing together the first threat score and a contribution of the second threat score, wherein the contribution of the second threat score is determined based on the second threat score and a margin corresponding to the difference between a maximum threat score and the first threat score.

  • Publication number: 20170316709
Abstract: The software system gives students the teacher homework question. The system also asks the students to write a more difficult question than teacher question and a less difficult question to be linked with original. The system uses machine learning techniques to rank the questions. The software system then asks students who are part of the class to rank these unordered questions. The system re-ranks the question list and repeats the process all the questions are ranked. The system uses these ranked lists to personalize learning of students. The system first presents the student with a teacher question from the list used by the majority of the students. Then the system provides synonym questions and midway questions to determine student's current knowledge. The system then seemlessly increases the student knowledge by presenting questions which are increasingly difficult.
