Abstract: A karaoke apparatus and the method thereof are provided, which guarantees the pitch of the karaoke music conforms to the pitch of the user. The apparatus comprises an audio input unit, a scale detector, a memory unit, a processor and a scale control unit. The audio input unit receives a test sound. The scale detector analyzes at least one test step of the test sound. The memory unit stores a plurality of standard steps. The processor finds out the highest step among the test steps, compares the highest step with the standard steps, and obtains a target step from the comparison; wherein, the target step is the standard step closest to the highest step. Finally, the scale control unit adjusts the pitch of the karaoke music so that the pitch is lower than that of the target step.

Abstract: A karaoke TV device is disclosed, which includes: an audio/video generating circuit which generates and outputs a TV video signal and a TV audio signal; a voice receiving circuit which receives an external voice signal; and a voice processing circuit which is electrically coupled to the audio/video generating circuit and the voice receiving circuit, receives, analyzes the TV audio signal and the external voice signal, mixes and softens the TV audio signal and the external voice, so as to output a mixed audio signal. Therefore, at the time when user watches TV, voice of the user can be mixed into the voice of the program.

Abstract: A multimedia apparatus includes a memory unit for recording a plurality of preset audio/video configurations corresponding to a plurality of signal sources, a control module electrically connected to the memory unit for automatically selecting a desired configuration from the plurality of preset audio/video configurations according to a selected signal source, and a processing module electrically connected to the control module for adjusting the multimedia data transmitted by the selected signal source according to the desired configuration.

The image display device used for displaying image includes a wireless receiving module, a driving unit and a controlling unit. The remote control includes an adjusting unit and a wireless transmitting module. The adjusting unit is used for adjusting an orientation of displaying face of the image display device. When an adjusting unit acts, the wireless transmitting module converts the corresponding operation signal into a wireless signal and outputs the wireless signal to a wireless receiving module. The wireless receiving module receives and converts the wireless signal into an electric signal, and then outputs the electric signal. The controlling unit controls the driving unit for driving the displaying device to rotate according to the electric signal.

The wireless transmitting module outputs the environment brightness value to the wireless receiving module by wireless transmission. The audio processing device is for producing a low-frequency audio signal according to the source audio signal. The wireless transmission module wirelessly transmits the low-frequency audio signal. The wireless receiving module is for wirelessly receiving and outputting the low-frequency audio signal. The amplifier is used for driving the low-frequency speaker to reproduce sound according to the low-frequency audio signal from the wireless receiving module.

Abstract: An LVDS switch control device for a portable apparatus is disclosed, which has an LVDS transducer, which transforms the image information for the portable apparatus into LVDS signals; a buffer receiving the LVDS signals transmitted by the connection pedestal as the portable apparatus is assembled on the connection pedestal; a detector producing a correct assembling signal as the portable apparatus is correctly assembled on the connection pedestal; and an LVDS switcher having a first input end, a second input end and an output end, wherein the first input end connects with the detector. When the detector produces the correct assembling signal, the output end of the LVDS switcher will produce a signal that disables the LVDS transducer and enables the buffer so that the LVDS signals outputted by the connection pedestal will be transmitted to a display panel of the portable apparatus.

Abstract: An auxiliary device for operating both M-DOC series flash memory and non-X86 system processor in synchronism is provided. The auxiliary device comprises a first logic circuit enabled by a first address line of the non-X86 system processor for changing output thereof from a first level to a second level, a delay circuit for delaying the second level output of the first logic circuit a predetermined period of time prior to clearing the first logic circuit for changing output thereof from a second level to a first level, and a second logic circuit for performing a logical operation on the output of the first logic circuit and a CS pin of the non-X86 system processor prior to coupling to a CS pin of the M-DOC series flash memory. The M-DOC series flash memory thus can be used as both a power on memory and a typical memory.

It comprises at least one flash memory chip, a processor, and a programmable logic device. The flash memory chip stores a bootstrap, an embedded OS, and applications. The processor executes the bootstrap, the embedded OS, and the applications. The programmable logic device decodes address lines, write signals, and read signals of the processor so that when the processor is about to write data into the predetermined block of the flash memory chip, the programmable logic device neither generates a RDY# signal nor sends the RDY# signal to the processor for representing a write failure, and a write signal into the flash memory chip is masked so that the block of the flash memory chip is protected.

The nonvolatile memory chips provide a storage space for portable device to store an embedded operation system, and each nonvolatile memory chip has a unique identifier. When the microprocessor receives a UUID reading request from the embedded operation system, a identify code reading driver is executed to read the unique identifier from a specific address of nonvolatile memory so as to reply to the embedded system based on the read unique identifier for producing a UUID.

Abstract: An apparatus for controlling brightness switching between a portable means and a docking station is provided. The apparatus comprises detection device for generating an installation correctness signal when the portable device is correctly mounted on the docking station. The signal selector includes a first input pin in a connector coupled to a mated connector of the docking station for receiving a brightness control signal from the docking station, and a second input pin for receiving a brightness control signal from the portable device. The signal of the first input pin is selected for output when the signal selector receives the installation correctness signal from the detection device.

Abstract: A reading control device for a four-line resistive touch panel including first and second conducting plates is disclosed. The device is electrically energized to alternately apply voltage to both the conducting plates so that a discharge is performed on the conducting plate not being electrically energized and an activation voltage is next read from the discharged conducting plate, thereby obtaining correct location data from the activation voltage. The sampling rate of the touch panel can be increased sufficiently for meeting the needs of a handwriting recognition system. Further, the larger the plate area is the higher the handwriting recognition accuracy will be.

Abstract: A circuit for combining on/off key and warm boot key to obtain a function of cold boot key in a portable information device is disclosed, which uses an on/off key to control a first switch circuit to be on and off and a warm boot key to control a second switch circuit to be on and off. The first switch circuit has the on/off key capable of restoring boot and halt functions. The second switch circuit has warm boot function. As the on/off key and the warm boot key are pressed at the same time, the first switch circuit and the second switch circuit are simultaneously turned on to drive a switch driving circuit to be active and thus the switch driving circuit outputs a signal to cold boot a connected portable information device.
