  • Publication number: 20240105383
Abstract: A multilayer coil component includes a multilayer body and outer electrodes. The multilayer body includes insulating layers and a coil. The insulating layers are stacked on top of one another in a stacking direction. The coil is embedded in the multilayer body. The outer electrodes are on an outer surface of the multilayer body and are electrically connected to the coil. The coil includes coil conductors, which are stacked together with the insulating layers in the stacking direction and electrically connected to each other. The coil includes a parallel section in which two or more of the coil conductors stacked in layers are electrically connected in parallel by via conductors interposed therebetween. The parallel section includes a first parallel section and a second parallel section, which is electrically connected in series with the first parallel section.

  • Publication number: 20230326662
Abstract: A laminated coil component includes an element body formed by laminating insulating layers in a lamination direction, a coil inside the body, and an external electrode on a surface of the body and electrically connected to the coil. The coil includes coil conductors laminated in the lamination direction and electrically connected via a via conductor penetrating the insulating layer in the lamination direction. The coil conductors include a laminated portion including adjacent coil conductors. The laminated portion has a parallel section in which all the coil conductors constituting the laminated portion overlap each other when viewed from the lamination direction. The parallel sections are connected in parallel by the via conductor. The coil is electrically connected to the same external electrode via lead-out conductors, each including a lead-out via conductor having a diameter of 100 µm or less and penetrating the insulating layer in the lamination direction.

The coil includes a coil conductors laminated in the lamination direction and electrically connected via a via conductor penetrating the insulating layer in the lamination direction. The coil conductors include a first laminated portion including three or more of the coil conductors adjacent to each other, a second laminated portion including the coil conductors adjacent to each other such that a number of the coil conductors in the second laminated portion is the same as a number of the coil conductors in the first laminated portion, and an intermediate portion adjacent to and between the first and second laminated portions and including one or two of the coil conductors.

  • Publication number: 20230317353
Abstract: A laminated coil component including a body in which insulating layers are laminated in a laminating direction; a coil in the body; and an outer electrode on a surface of the body and electrically connected to the coil. The coil includes coil conductors laminated in the laminating direction that are electrically connected by a via conductor that penetrates the insulating layers in the laminating direction. The coil conductors include a first laminated part including adjacent coil conductors including an outermost coil conductor at an outermost position in the laminating direction. The first laminated part has first parallel sections in which all of the coil conductors of the first laminated part overlap each other when viewed in the laminating direction. The first parallel sections are connected in parallel by the via conductor, and the outermost coil conductor is electrically connected to the same outer electrode by first and second lead-out conductors.
