  • Patent number: 5198324
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for making a lithographic printing plate having high sensitivity and high printing endurance by scanner-exposing which comprises subjecting a photographic photosensitive material comprising a support and, provided thereon, an unfogged internal latent image type silver halide emulsion layer to scanner-exposing, subjecting the exposed photosensitive material to non-tanning development in the presence of a nucleating agent, and then subjecting the silver halide portion of the emulsion layer to an oleophilizing treatment.

  • Patent number: 4821057
Abstract: Disclosed is a process for image transfer from an image donating sheet to an image receiving sheet by treating these sheets in equipment or apparatus provided with a parting member, a processing tank and a pair of squeegee rolls which comprises introducing into the processing solution in the processing solution tank the image donating sheet and the image receiving sheet which are bonded together along one edge and between which the parting member is held.

  • Patent number: 4362811
Abstract: A processing solution composition for treating an image receiving layer in silver complex diffusion transfer process, which contains 1.7.times.10.sup.-3 to 1.7.times.10.sup.-2 mole/liter of a bromide and 2.0 to 12.0 mole-% of potassium ion based on total cations of the salts contained in the composition accelerates the transfer speed and gives a silver image high in maximum density, contrast and sharpness to the image.

  • Patent number: 4302526
Abstract: The negative materials of this invention for silver complex diffusion transfer process provide silver images high in density and improved in stability on image receiving materials. Said negative materials have the following characteristics:(a) The negative materials have silver halide emulsion layer in which the weight ratio of hydrophilic colloid to silver halide in terms of silver nitrate is 2 or less and(b) furthermore, the negative materials have an undercoat layer of hydrophilic colloid on a support and the silver halide emulsion layer of (a) on said undercoat layer, the weight ratio of the hydrophilic colloid of said undercoat layer to that of said silver halide emulsion layer being at least 2.
