Patent number: 7107130Abstract: A vehicle-mounted meter system includes: an inputting and outputting circuit for data measured to show a condition of the vehicle, a control circuit for controlling the system as a whole and for procession of the data, a meter main body, and a control unit detachably attached to the meter main body. The data inputting and outputting circuit is arranged on the meter main body, and the control circuit is arranged on the control unit. Preferably, the meter main body has a random bus structure corresponding to the data inputting and outputting circuit, and the bus structure has a buffer through which communication is allowed between the data inputting and outputting circuit and the control circuit.Type: GrantFiled: October 18, 2004Date of Patent: September 12, 2006Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Kazuaki Kondo, Shozo Ashizawa

Patent number: 6838982Abstract: A vehicle display system comprises a plurality of display units and a controller unit. Each display unit has a receiver for receiving measured data indicating a state of the vehicle, and a driver controller for controlling an indicator driver according to the measured data. The controller unit has a transmitter for transmitting the measured data to the plurality of display units and a transmitter controller for controlling the transmission. Each display unit further comprises a generator for generating response data indicating a state of the indicator driver and a transmitter for transmitting the response data to the controller unit. The controller unit further comprises a receiver for receiving each response data and a comparator for comparing each response data with the measured data to judge whether each indicator driver is controllable or not. Further, the transmitter controller controls according to a judged result.Type: GrantFiled: May 13, 2003Date of Patent: January 4, 2005Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Kazuaki Kondo, Toshitaka Takeguchi, Shozo Ashizawa

Patent number: 5887616Abstract: A liquid tank includes a tank body forming a reservoir for gasoline G, a flexible partition film 1 arranged in the tank body 1 to divide a space in the tank body into two vertical spaces, a float positioned on the gasoline G, an arm 3 for converting a high and low position of the float 3 into a rotational position of the arm 5, and a potentiometer 5 for detecting a position of the flexible partition film. Since the gasoline G is covered with the partition film, the gasoline G does not vaporize into the air in the tank body an. Even if the gasoline surface is slanted to the tank body an by an acceleration of the vehicle, the flexible partition film serves to restrict the inclination of the surface. Therefore, it is possible to precisely a residual amounts of the gasoline G irrespective of the inclination.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 1996Date of Patent: March 30, 1999Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Kimihiko Ikeda, Kazuyuki Sasaki, Ichiro Kataoka, Kunimitsu Aoki, Shozo Ashizawa, Shinji Narama

Patent number: 5859365Abstract: In a remaining fuel amount measuring apparatus for a fuel tank which is suited to the fuel tank designed to suppress generation of fuel vapor, a CPU actuates a piston to supply a prescribed amount of air into a pressure adjusting chamber, thereby increasing the pressure within the pressure adjusting chamber. From the Boyle's law, the increasing rate of air before air supply is inversely proportional to the volume V of the pressure adjusting chamber. Therefore, the CPU, referring to the pressure within the pressure adjusting chamber before and after the air supply, acquires the volume V of the pressure adjusting chamber, and subtracts the volume V of the pressure adjusting chamber from the internal volume of a tank body to acquire the volume of a fuel chamber, i.e. remaining fuel amount.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 1997Date of Patent: January 12, 1999Assignees: Yazaki Corporation, Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Ichiro Kataoka, Kazuyuki Sasaki, Kunimitsu Aoki, Shozo Ashizawa, Shinji Narama, Takaaki Itou, Toru Kidokoro, Yoshihiko Hyodo
