  • Publication number: 20090244905
Abstract: In an input device with an illumination function including an illumination device having light-emitting diodes, strip-like light-guide plates that distribute light emitted from the light-emitting diodes to the side surfaces other than a light-incident surface, and a planar light-guide plate that is provided with a plurality of through-holes and laterally propagates light incident from the strip-like light-guide plates and emits the light from through-holes, the planar light-guide plate is provided with strip-like light-guide-plate providing grooves at portions where the through-holes are not provided, and the strip-like light-guide plates are provided in the strip-like light-guide-plate providing grooves such that the side surfaces of the strip-like light-guide-plate providing grooves and the side surfaces of the strip-like light-guide plates face each other.

  • Publication number: 20080072708
Abstract: A substrate 11 is patterned by photolithography to make a first original plate. Next, the pattern 11a of the first original plate is transferred to make a second original plate 12. Next, the second original plate 12 is machined to make a die. Further, the pattern 12b of the second original plate 12 is transferred to make a third original plate 13, which is used as a die. This provides a method for manufacturing a die by which a special shape, for example, a shape having a high aspect ratio portion can be easily formed and a molding obtained therewith.

  • Publication number: 20060057709
Abstract: A flow path is formed in a zigzag shape to have a predetermined width from an upstream side to a downstream side. Accordingly, both side surfaces of the flow path divide the flow path into a plurality of regions from the upstream side to the downstream side to function as regulation surfaces for regulating the number of test particles filled inside the regions. Further, when a test is performed on each of the regions, the accumulated amount of tolerances of the test particles in the respective regions is small, which makes it possible to test the test particles with high accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20060057708
Abstract: Light shielding portions are provided along a flow path on a top surface of a plate substrate at both sides, that is, an X1 side (right side) and an X2 side (left side) of the flow path. Then, when a fluorescent intensity is measured to determine whether a test sample reacts or not, a small amount of light emitted from the plate substrate and a lid body is also properly shielded by the light shielding portions, so that the stability of measuring the fluorescent intensity with respect to beads arranged inside the flow path can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20060034727
Abstract: A test plate includes a plate substrate and a lid body. The plate substrate includes a flow path; an upstream storage chamber that is connected to the upstream side of the flow path and stores an upstream material; and a downstream storage chamber that is connected to the downstream side of the flow path and stores a downstream material. At least a portion of a surface of a space from the upstream storage chamber to the downstream storage chamber through the flow path is composed of a water-repellent surface.
