Abstract: Disclosed are systems and techniques for performing mapping using radio frequency (RF) sensing. For instance, a server can obtain a first set of RF sensing data and orientation data corresponding to a first wireless device from a plurality of wireless devices. The first set of RF sensing data can be associated with at least one received waveform that is a reflection of a transmitted waveform from a first reflector. Based on the first set of RF sensing data, orientation data, and location data corresponding to the first wireless device, an indoor map can be generated that includes a reference to the reflector.

Abstract: The sources of emails sent from mobile devices using wireless email protocols can be identified. In one embodiment, the invention includes receiving a simple mail transfer protocol (SMTP)-formatted email sent from a mobile device as an HTTP request. An SMTP-compliant header identifying the mobile device is examined, that was inserted into the HTTP request using information contained in one or more HTTP headers of the HTTP request. Then, an email data loss prevention (DLP) policy specific to mobile devices is applied to the received email.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for selectively removing a data element that triggers a policy violation from a web request to an interactive website. In one method, the method identifies a policy for protecting source data, having a plurality of data elements. The method further evaluates a web request sent to an interactive website as part of a web-based application, and determines that the web request includes at least one data element triggering a violation of the policy. The method determines the data boundaries of the web request, and selectively removes data content within the data boundaries containing the at least one data element that triggered the violation to allow the web request to be processed by the interactive website as if it were the original web request containing the at least one data element.

The determination may be based on at least one data loss prevention policy. When the content includes confidential information, a content management recommendation is created. The content management recommendation may comprise at least one of a recommendation pertaining to a storage of the content and a recommendation pertaining to a backup of the content. The content management recommendation may be provided to a content management system.
