  • Publication number: 20240164926
Abstract: Methods are provided for the delivery of an implant into a body lumen of a patient. The method includes the steps of advancing a delivery device that includes a first tubular member housing an implant, a distal control member slidable within the first tubular member and releasably coupled with a distal portion of the implant, and an elongate grasper member slidable within the first tubular member and releasably coupled with a proximal portion of the implant. The method includes causing relative motion between the elongate grasper member and the first tubular member to expose at least a portion of the implant within the first tubular member, and then releasing the distal portion of the implant from the distal control member and the proximal portion of the implant from the elongate grasper member.

  • Patent number: 11983187
Abstract: A dataset is received for ingestion into a data platform, and a correlation identifier is generated responsive to receiving the dataset. Multiple choreographed services emit multiple event messages. The plurality of choreographed services operate independently of each other based on a plurality of events triggered in a data platform. The plurality of events relate to contents of the dataset and comprising the correlation identifier. A message storage is populated with multiple status updates related to the correlation identifier. A status message associated with the correlation identifier is published in response to a status update of the plurality of status updates.

  • Patent number: 11813184
Abstract: Benign prosthetic hyperplasia (BPH) is a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland. Treatment options for BPH include medication, surgery (e.g., removal of enlarged prostate tissue), and minimally invasive procedures (e.g., needle ablation, electrovaporization, thermotherapy, and stent insertion). Minimally invasive procedure is typically the preferred choice if medication is ineffective. Accordingly, disclosed herein are system and method for treating BPH using improved implant and delivery device. Certain embodiments of the delivery device can include: a camming barrel having a first groove at the distal end of the camming barrel; a sheath, located within a lumen of the camming barrel, for storing the implantable device; and a first cam follower coupled to the sheath.

  • Publication number: 20200077754
Abstract: A gemstone is configured to yield a hearts and arrows pattern when subjected to light. The gemstone has a length, a width and a height. The gemstone includes a crown portion, a girdle and a pavilion portion. The crown portion has a height of about 10-14.5% of the length of the gemstone and has four sides and four corners where the four corners connect the four sides to each other. The crown portion includes an octagonal table facet, 8 star facets of equal geometry and dimension positioned around the octagonal table facet so as to enclose the octagonal table facet, and other facets. The girdle has a variable thickness extending circumferentially along the gemstone. The pavilion portion has a height of about 45.5-54% of the length of the gemstone and includes 8 main pavilion facets, 16 pavilion half facets positioned around the main pavilion facets, and other facets.

  • Publication number: 20190117423
Abstract: Indwelling body lumen expanders which allow for the maintenance and patency of a body lumen, such as the prostatic urethra to relieve urethral obstruction, are described. Because the one or more expanders are configured to be relatively larger in diameter than the diameter of the body lumen, the expanders may become invaginated into the lumen wall thus enabling the prostheses to avoid fluid exposure which in turn prevent the prostheses from becoming encrusted or calcified.
