    Abstract: Various implementations provide improved advertisement workflow techniques designed to increase click-through rates in the context of a digital medium environment. When content, such as streaming video, is received and has an associated advertisement, an option can be provided to enable the user to defer viewing of the advertisement. If the user selects the defer viewing option, the advertisement is placed in a deferred advertisement queue for later viewing and the user can proceed directly to consuming their content. The user can then choose to view deferred advertisements at any time that is convenient to the user.
