  • Publication number: 20240281048
Abstract: An apparatus comprises a first printed circuit board (PCB) supporting a master subsystem including a master power management integrated circuit (PMIC) coupled to a master processor via a first local interface. The apparatus also comprises a second PCB supporting a slave subsystem including a slave PMIC coupled to a slave processor via a second local interface. The apparatus further comprises a first bi-directional control interface coupling the master processor to the master PMIC and to the slave PMIC. The first bi-directional control interface comprises at least one trace overloaded to carry multiple PMIC functions.

  • Publication number: 20240139511
Abstract: A wearable device, including: a display; one or more circuits coupled to the display; a processor configured to: throttle an operation of the one or more circuits; and cause the display to generate an image that induces eye blinking in a user associated with the throttling of the operation of the one or more circuits.

  • Publication number: 20240103596
Abstract: Providing runtime power profile tuning based on eye state in processor-based Extended Reality (XR) devices is disclosed herein. In this regard, in some exemplary aspects, a processor of a processor-based XR device is configured to apply a default power profile, and detect, using an eye blink detection circuit, an eye close event of a user of the processor-based XR device. In response to detecting the eye close event, the processor selects a test power profile from a plurality of power profiles and applies the test power profile. The processor then measures an operating characteristic of the processor-based XR device and compares the operating characteristic with a corresponding reference range. Based on the comparing, the processor updates one or more power profiles of the plurality of power profiles.

  • Publication number: 20170160831
Abstract: A system includes an electromechanical device coupled to a sensing device to detect input to the electromechanical device and display to displays information related to the electromechanical device. The sensing device includes a touch surface including tactile features delineating a portion of the touch surface to be touched by the conductive object. A sensor of the system is to detect the conductive object proximate to the delineated portion of the touch surface based on a capacitance.
