    Abstract: A technique for managing changes to individual entities, such as employees, in a business execution context. When a first user, such as a manager or a human resources (HR) administrator, desires to change characteristics of an individual entity, such as an employee, the first user inputs into a software application the desired characteristic changes to be made. The software application receives the input from the first user and analyzes the information. The software application then identifies and initiates a “workflow” that corresponds to the input and effects the desired changes.
