    Abstract: A torrefaction system includes at least one pool containing a liquid heat transfer agent and a conveyor system. The heat transfer agent provides thermal contact with biomass fragments to heat the biomass fragments into biocoal. The conveyor system transports the biomass through the at least one pool in a first direction and transporting the biocoal in a second direction opposite to the first direction in the at least one pool. The heat transfer agent may be oil, paraffin, or molten salt. The conveyor system transports a continuous stream of the biomass fragments into the pools. The torrefaction apparatus further includes a gas collecting system that collects and separates condensable volatile organic compounds during the torrefaction process.

    Abstract: A tilting and folding device of a treadmill includes a base and a track bed is pivotably connected to the base by an arm, a support device and an actuator. The arm is pivotably connected between the base and the track bed. The actuator is pivotably connected between the base and a pivotal portion located between the first and second pivotal ends. The support device is pivotably connected to the base and the track bed. When the arm is pivoted about the second pivotal end and driven by the actuator, the front end of the track bed is lifted and stopped after being traveled to a pre-set stroke. When the actuator continuously drives the arm, the rear end of the track bed is supported by the support device and pivoted until the track bed is located upright.

    Abstract: An apparatus for assembling camera modules to flexible printed circuit boards (PCBs) includes a number of trays, a surface mounting device used in surface mount technology (SMT) for PCBs, and a hot pressing device. Workpieces, each of which includes a flexible PCB (FPCB) and a lens module positioned on the FPCB, are received in the trays. Each tray is sent to the surface mounting device. The surface mounting device loads and pastes a stiffener onto a FBCB, opposite to a lens module. The hot pressing device hot presses each stiffener to the respective workpiece, which is received in each tray sent from the surface mounting device, to fixedly secure the stiffener to the respective workpiece to form a camera module.

A beam current is sensed by the side Faraday cups concurrent with scanning the beam, wherein the side Faraday cups are connected to a dosimeter only concurrent with a wide scan of the ion beam, and are disconnected concurrent with narrow scans of the ion beam. The side Faraday cups are further connected to ground concurrent with narrow scans of the ion beam.

    Abstract: In a method and apparatus for magnetic resonance imaging, an inverse recovery pulse is emitted and execution of an image acquisition sequence wherein, magnetic resonance image data are received is begun after a delayed recovery time of the inverse recovery pulse. A magnetic resonance image is reconstructed from the acquired magnetic resonance image data. The longitudinal relaxation time is obtained based on a known time after the inverse recovery pulse and a magnetization quantity of the known time. A second relaxation time is thereby able to be fully taken into account, so as to avoid a deviation of the longitudinal relaxation time. The range of application of the Look-Locker method is expanded, so that the present invention obtains an accurate longitudinal relaxation time no matter whether a delay exists before a sampled sequence.
