Abstract: A network-based air-conditioning equipment remote monitoring and management system is proposed, which is designed for use with a network system to allow the user to carry out monitoring and management tasks on one or more remotely-located air-conditioning equipment systems in a real-time manner via the network system. The proposed system is characterized by the provision of a user-operated network-based real-time monitoring and management function for remotely-located air-conditioning equipment, the capability to provide efficient and cost-effective management in the utilization of air-conditioning equipment for saving energy and cost, and the capability to provide real-time warning of abnormal operating conditions of the air-conditioning equipment.

Abstract: Disclosed is a positioning method for biochip spotting, which can spot the bio-probe precisely on the specific position of a biochip substrate, and the steps thereof comprising: (a) providing reference points on a biochip substrate; (b) taking an image of the position of each reference point; (c) calculating a first spotting position and performing spotting according to position information of the image of the positions of reference points of step (b); (d) taking and recording the image of the spotted position; (e) calculating to make feedback correction and setting up the next spotting position according to the position information of the image of step (d) and then performing spotting; and (f) repeatedly performing step (d) to step (e) until all spotting is completed.

Abstract: A hard disk drive cartridge with dual joints for 68-pin and 80-pin hard disks mainly has a horizontal circuit board with a SCA 80-pin joint disposed on the rear rim thereof as well as a juxtaposed LVD 68-pin receptacle and a power receptacle disposed at the front rim thereof; after the said circuit board is fixedly fastened on the rear rim of the hard disk drive cartridge, the 80-pin joint on the rear rim thereof connects with the original receptacle while the 68-pin receptacle at the front rim is available to be directly inserted by hard disks of different systems; through the present invention, 80-pin and 68-pin hard disks of different regulations can be used in the same hard disk drive cartridge so as to reduce the manufacturing cost and the environmental pollution caused by the discarded hard disk cartridge.
