By the functionalization of the benzylic protons of the alkylstyrene unit, the copolymer can be functionalized. The functionalized or grafted olefin/cycloolefin/alkylstyrene copolymer has good adhesion to a substrate and good compatibility with other polymers compared with the non-functionalized copolymer.
