  • Publication number: 20130330974
Abstract: A HomePlug includes a body, a power socket, and a network port. The body has an installation region, an insertion region, and an operation region defined on a side surface of the body. The power socket is disposed on the insertion region and has a central point. The network port is disposed on the operation region and spaced apart from the central point by a specific distance. Accordingly, not only is the HomePlug convenient to manipulate, but a network cable connected to the HomePlug is also unlikely to bend, even though the HomePlug is installed at an electric outlet positioned proximate to the ground.

  • Patent number: 7298274
Abstract: A passive RFID-based electronic seal having a lower body and an upper body, includes an upper, a central and a lower sleeve, two antennas, an RFID Chip, two sockets. When the first antenna of the upper body is inserted through a seal sleeve of the central sleeve of the lower body, a pawl suitably is placed at a middle of the first antenna gets stuck inside a pawl ring of the central sleeve of the lower body when passing through it and thus activates and completes the passive RFID-based electronic seal.

  • Publication number: 20070229217
Abstract: A RFID automatic guarding system for campus safety is disclosed, which applies active ultra high frequency (UHF) RFID technology. The system comprises hanging the RFID active tag on students; transmitting a signal from the RFID locator to the RFID active tag once the students go through general or restricted area where the RFID locator is sited; receiving a driving signal by the RFID active tag from the RFID locator; transmitting stored data from the RFID active tag to the RFID reader; transmitting the stored data from the RFID reader to a middleware server; integrating the stored data by the middleware server; transmitting the integrated data to an application server; meanwhile transmitting the integrated data to parents or school administrators, wherein the integrated data can be received by cellular phone or computer and shows message of arriving school, leaving school, breaking into restricted area, or overstaying on school bus of students.

  • Patent number: 5938885
Abstract: A method for continuously monitoring and controlling the etch rates within integrated circuits of silicon nitride insulator layers and silicon nitride insulator structures in aqueous ortho-phosphoric acid (H3PO4) solutions. To practice the method of the present invention, there is first provided an etch bath chamber containing therein an aqueous ortho-phosphoric acid (H3PO4) solution. There is provided continuously from the etch bath chamber to a hydrometer cell a sample stream of the aqueous ortho-phosphoric acid (H3PO4) solution. The sample stream of the aqueous ortho-phosphoric acid (H3PO4) solution is analyzed continuously within the hydrometer cell to provide a continuous specific gravity analysis of the sample stream of the aqueous ortho-phosphoric acid (H3PO4) solution.

  • Patent number: 5899837
Abstract: An exercise device includes a resilient plate body, a pair of handles, a pair of V-clips and a flexible adjusting sheet. The plate body has a protrusion integrally and transversely formed on a middle portion thereof, and defines a pair of inclined through holes each between one of two distal edges of the plate body and the protrusion. The protrusion defines an arch therethrough which has an opening in communication with an undersurface of the plate body to receive the adjusting sheet. The pair of handles each has a metal rod encased in a sponge tube. A distal end of the metal rod extends through a respective inclined through hole of the plate body. Then the V-clip grippingly fastens the respective distal end of the metal rod. The flexible adjusting sheet is shaped to be received in the arch of the protrusion.
