  • Publication number: 20130222278
Abstract: An electronic device acquires first character data of a hand, and displays an outline diagram of the hand on a touch screen display according to the first character data, in response to a user placing his/her hand on the touch screen display. The electronic device sets associations between editing tools and fingers of the hand in the outline diagram. Then, the electronic device detects second character data of a finger of the hand in response to the user touching the touch screen display with the finger, and compares the second character data with the first character data, to determine which editing tool is associated with that finger according to the set associations, and replaces a present available editing tool on the touch screen display with the determined editing tool.

  • Publication number: 20130124485
Abstract: In a method for detecting compatibility of files of an electronic device, the method obtains a size and a format of an original file in response to moving the original file from an original storage area to a destination, and determines whether the original file and the destination are compatible with each other. If the original file and the destination are compatible with each other, the method receives the original file to the destination. If the original file and the destination are incompatible with each other, the method displays a prompt that the original file and the destination are incompatible on a display device of the electronic.

  • Publication number: 20130080889
Abstract: In an agenda management method of an electronic device, one or more items of an agenda are set, and a time period and an alarm time is set for each of the items. A user interface is displayed for the setting of the agenda, and an analog clock is displayed on the user interface. An area on the analog clock is determined for each item to show the item according to the time when it will happen, and a first color is displayed in each determined area. A user of the electronic device is notified when a prior warning time of any item is reached, and a second color is displayed in the determined area of the item. A third color is displayed in the determined area of the item when the starting time of the item has been reached.

  • Publication number: 20130010000
Abstract: In a method for managing files using an electronic device, the method determines whether a touch operation on a touchscreen corresponds to an icon of a confirmed file. If the touch operation corresponds to the icon of the confirmed file, touch operations of dragging the icon of the confirmed file to an icon of a target folder on the touchscreen are detected. The icon of the confirmed file is controlled to move towards the icon of the target folder and the target folder is confirmed. The confirmed file is stored into the target folder when the target folder is confirmed.
