Abstract: A distance measuring system includes a light emitting member, an optical member, an image sensing member, and a computing member. The light emitting member provides a light beam to an object. The optical member is disposed on a transmission path of the light beam reflected by the object. The image sensing member is disposed on a transmission path of the part of the light beam passing through the optical member, and the image sensing member has an image sensing area for receiving the part of the light beam passing through the optical member and receiving the part of the light beam not passing through the optical member. The computing member compares a difference between the deformation area and the non-deformation area of the object image so as to obtain a distance variation of the object.

  • Patent number: 10366281
Abstract: A method for gesture identification with natural images includes generating a series of variant images by using each two or more successive ones of the natural images, extracting an image feature from each of the variant images, and comparing the varying pattern of the image feature with a gesture definition to identify a gesture. The method is inherently insensitive to indistinctness of images, and supports the motion estimation in axes X, Y, and Z without requiring the detected object to maintain a fixed gesture.

A code block includes a center coding region and a peripheral coding region arranged around the center coding region. The encoding and decoding method uses the feature of at least one microdot included in the center coding region as codes. The encoding and decoding method uses the feature of at least one microdot included in the peripheral coding region as codes. The encoding and decoding method uses the relative feature between the center coding region and the peripheral coding region as codes. The information recognition device compares the read feature with pre-stored features to decode information such as position codes, object codes, parameter codes and control codes.

  • Patent number: 10255518
Abstract: An image determining method for scanning an image and determining specific image pixels of a specific image. The method comprises: determining at least one pixel in a first row having brightness value larger than a threshold value as the specific image pixel; defining a leftmost pixel and a rightmost pixel of the specific image pixel in the first row as a leftmost edge and a rightmost edge of a first specific image range; and defining a second specific image range in a second row of the image, which is next to the first row. Column positions of a leftmost edge and a rightmost edge of the second specific image range are respectively the same with column positions of the leftmost edge and the rightmost edge of the first specific image range. Via this method, the determining for the specific image pixels is more accurate.
