  • Publication number: 20230086533
Abstract: A medical image processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to obtain a medical image. The processing circuitry is configured to calculate a first blood flow direction on the basis of a structure of a region of interest rendered in the medical image. The processing circuitry is configured to calculate a second blood flow direction on the basis of a structure in the surroundings of the region of interest. The processing circuitry is configured to identify a condition of the region of interest, on the basis of the first blood flow direction and the second blood flow direction.

  • Patent number: 10506932
Abstract: A vascular viscoelasticity evaluation device and method in which, a pulse wave obtained using a cuff is subjected to first derivation, a positive amplitude peak value Vf1 that occurs first and a negative amplitude peak value Vr2 that occurs second out of a plurality of negative amplitude peak values are detected in a state in which an external force substantially the same as or greater than the systolic blood pressure has been exerted on a blood vessel, and a ratio of the positive amplitude peak value Vf1 that occurs first to the negative amplitude peak value Vr2 that occurs second is calculated, and then the vascular viscoelasticity is evaluated on the basis of this calculated ratio.

  • Publication number: 20160120511
Abstract: A modulation frequency control unit (36) controls a displacement-use transmission unit (34) such that displacement-use ultrasonic beam (EB) is subjected to modulation processing using a relatively high modulation frequency and a relatively low modulation frequency. A displacement measurement unit (24) measures the displacement of a tissue in a treatment area (P) at each of the modulation frequencies, and a coagulation measurement unit (25) measures local coagulation in the treatment area (P) on the basis of the measurement result of the displacement at the relatively high modulation frequency, and measures wide-area coagulation in the treatment area (P) on the basis of the measurement result of the displacement at the relatively low modulation frequency.

  • Patent number: 9213105
Abstract: To measure three-dimensional dose distributions with a dosimeter, such as a gel dosimeter. In an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a gel dosimeter having water, as solvent or disperse medium, clay particles that swell with water, and recording material precursor, which are dissolved or dispersed with each other. The recording material precursor has an atom or ion, wherein the atom or ion changes its valence number by reacting with both of a radical and a molecular radical derivative. The radical is to be generated from the water ionized by irradiation of radiation rays, and the molecular radical derivative is a molecule to be formed by bonding the radicals with each other. By the time radiation rays are irradiated, the gel dosimeter has been free from a substance identical to the molecular radical derivative and has lost fluidity.
