  • Publication number: 20080169131
Abstract: A working machine such as a wheel loader for moving a load measures the weight of the load accurately. While the load is lifted by a boom of the working machine, a boom angle (?) and a pressure value (P) of a boom cylinder are measured and a boom angular speed (?) is calculated. A corrected factor (?) is determined according to the boom angular speed (?), and a corrected pressure value (P?) is calculated from “P?=P???.” A predetermined table is referred to and the weight (W) of the load is determined based on the boom angle (?) and the corrected pressure value (P) of the boom cylinder. Further, calibrations are performed as needed, and each time when a calibration is made, the average value of the calibrated value and the preceding calibrated value is calculated and data is rewritten to this average value.

  • Patent number: 7395184
Abstract: To measure loaded weight in respective work statuses of a dump truck. The loaded weight of a dump truck 11 is calculated and stored at prescribed time intervals. It is judged whether or not the dump truck 11 has transferred to a transporting status (S31-S33), and if it has transferred to a transporting status (S31: YES, S32: YES, S33: YES), then the transported weight G1 at the end of loading and immediately before transition to the transporting status is calculated and stored (S34). The transported weight G2 during the period in which the truck is in the transporting status is also calculated and stored (S35). If the truck has transferred from the transporting status to an unloading status (S36: YES), then the transported weight G3 before unloading is calculated and stored (S37). A transported weight selected from these respective transported weights G1-G3 is read out and output to a display device, or the like (S38, S39).

  • Publication number: 20060165683
Abstract: This invention relates to methods for treatment, diagnosis and prevention of bone disease and comprises methods including measurement and modulation of sympathetic tone and leptin activity. Alteration of sympathetic tone in bone disease can be accomplished by decreasing or increasing leptin synthesis, leptin receptor synthesis, leptin binding to the leptin receptor, and leptin receptor activity. Alteration of sympathetic tone in bone disease can also be accomplished in the foregoing manner, in combination with traditional sympathetic nervous system agonists and/or antagonists, such as, but not limited to, a dopamine ? hydroxylase antagonist or a ? adrenergic antagonist for treatment or prevention of osteoporosis.

  • Patent number: 6292725
Abstract: The present invention prevents the interference of vehicles traveling on-coming to each other when a plurality of vehicles are traveling on-coming to each other on a traveling path with a predetermined road width without increase in cost caused by setting a wide course width and without a drop in work efficiency caused by decreasing velocity. If one of the vehicles detects the other vehicle by its obstacle detection means when the vehicles are traveling on-coming to each other, the vehicle which detects the other vehicle begins deceleration to stop itself. At the same time, this vehicle transmits a deceleration control command for stopping the other vehicle to the other vehicle via transmission/reception means, therefore the other vehicle starts deceleration even if this vehicle cannot detect an obstacle.

  • Patent number: 5018922
Abstract: A force feeling type master/slave manipulator detects a positional difference, a speed difference, and a force difference between the master and slave machines. The position difference and force difference are combined in a weighted manner and the output is used to drive an actuator on the control lever of the master machine to provide a force feeling feedback effect. The position difference is also combined in a weighted manner with the speed difference and the speed of the working machine to provide a sum value. The load force is subtracted from the sum value and the result is used to provide a signal for driving the actuator of the working machine. As a result, stable operation of the control lever is provided, natural vibration of the working machine is reduced and the working machine is stabilized against large inertial loads.
