Abstract: A video displaying device connected to a first display comprises a connecting port, a second display, a signal processing unit, a microcontroller, and a switching unit. The connecting port is used for connecting to the first display, the signal processing unit is used for generating a first video signal, the microcontroller is used for generating a control signal and transmitting the control signal to the signal processing unit for generating a second video signal, and the switching unit is used for triggering the signal processing unit to selectively transmit the first video signal and the second video signal to the connecting port and the second display.

Abstract: A method for adaptive encoding a video signal and an apparatus therefor. A predetermined frame resolution and quantizer step size are provided. A first input frame of the video signal is subsequently sampled and encoded based on the predetermined frame resolution and the quantizer step size, respectively. If the size of the encoded first input frame is substantially greater than a first predetermined encoding size, the predetermined frame resolution is reduced and the first input frame is sampled accordingly. The method further includes reducing the predetermined frame resolution if the time period spent in encoding is substantially greater than a predetermined encoding time. The method reduces packet loss or delay during transfer at constant bit rate.

Abstract: A method includes wirelessly receiving a text string at a mobile phone and parsing the text string to obtain security configuration data of the mobile phone. The method determines whether a code in the security configuration data matches a corresponding code in the mobile phone. The method further includes locking or unlocking a predetermined feature of the mobile phone when the code in the security configuration data matches the corresponding code in the mobile phone.

Abstract: An electronic device including a housing, a first supporting member, a second supporting member and an adjusting assembly is provided. The first and the second supporting members are disposed beneath the housing for supporting the electronic device. The adjusting assembly is coupled to the first and the second supporting members for driving the first and the second supporting members to move towards a first and a second directions respectively.

Abstract: An improved muscle building apparatus assembly is made up of a base having a support rod extended upward from both sides of the base, and each support rod being pivotally coupled to a left and a right handle braces, and a cushion; wherein a connecting rod is protruded from the center of the base and a brace rod is connected to the upper section of the connecting rod, such that the brace rod can move vertically up and down inside the connecting rod, and the corresponding ends of the two handle braces are pivotally coupled to a V-shaped support rod, and the top of the support rod is pivotally coupled with the brace rod, and thus the brace rod is positioned between two support rods and becomes a linear structure for the exertion of a balanced force after the left and right handle braces are secured.

Abstract: A network peripheral and installation method thereof for downloading built-in programs of the network peripheral device to the computer and having these downloaded programs installed therein. The network peripheral device has an built-in network unit and a built-in network server. The network unit is for creating network connection to the computer system. After the network connection is established, the network server is started. A browser in the computer system may be opened and connected to the network server by means of a recognition code of the network server. After being connected to the network server, the browser may display all relevant programs. If clicked by the user, a program will be automatically downloaded to and installed in the computer system.

Abstract: A computer is connected to a base station through a server and several networks. A web page on the computer is utilized to set configuration data of a mobile phone. The server receives the configuration data from the computer and communicates the configuration data to a base station. The base station transmits the configuration data to the mobile phone as a text message. The mobile phone is responsive to the configuration data and adjusts its operating configuration accordingly. The mobile phone includes a parser controlled by a processor for parsing the text message, the parser outputting parsed configuration data to the processor to effect the configuration.

The support structure consists of an arrangement in which one end is on the floor and the other end is angularly positioned on the base. The pull cord is on the floor and the other end is angularly positioned on the base. The pull cord of the transport pulley assembly is respectively wrapped around a first pulley at the lateral end of the upper horizontal bar and positioned onto a second pulley at the bottom end of the reclined body rest buttress rod, following which it is wrapped around a third pulley at the other end of the upper horizontal bar, the two free ends of the pull cord then providing the user extremities for exerting a tugging force.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a body weight driven treadmill, and when the exerciser steps on the treadmill, the exerciser's body weight acts as a loading to tilt the pedal platform upward from the rear back of the treadmill, since the base of the treadmill has a front supporting rod and a rear supporting rod, wherein the radius of the front supporting rod is slightly smaller than that of the rear supporting rod, and the points of contact tangential to the ground are different. Such arrangement can slightly tilt the exerciser's body forward, until it reaches equilibrium and a stable position. When the treadmill is stepped by our legs alternately, the pressing foot will tilt forward, and twist the exerciser's waist. Such body weight driven treadmill is a simple and easy-to-assemble structure and does not occupy much space.
