  • Publication number: 20150333813
Abstract: The embodiments disclose a method for adaptive resource allocation by an AP in a radio communication network utilizing MIMO-BF. The method comprises: calculating the PMI correlations between a first UE being served by the AP and each of a plurality of candidate UEs to be allocated resources by using the latest PMIs reported by the respective UEs, wherein the PMI correlation is indicated by the phase difference between the first UE and a candidate UE, and the plurality of candidate UEs are within the coverage of the AP; prioritizing the plurality of candidate UEs to be allocated resources in accordance with the calculated PMI correlations; selecting one or more second UEs from the plurality of candidate UEs based on the priority of the plurality of candidate UEs; and allocating resources to the one or more second UEs so as to serve them subsequently.

  • Publication number: 20150257092
Abstract: A method and a base station for a cell selection are provided. The method comprises obtaining an uplink traffic status of a user equipment. The method also comprises determining, based upon the plink traffic status, a bias value for a measured quality indicator of a down link received signal with respect to the user equipment. In addition, the method comprises performing the cell selection based upon the bias value and the measured quality indicator. With the present invention, a proper cell could be selected and thus both peak DL and UL throughput can be improved in the heterogeneous network.

  • Patent number: 9098945
Abstract: Described is a search technology in which spatially varying anisotropic reflectance is modeled using image data captured from a single view. Reflectance at each point is represented using a microfacet-based Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function (BRDF). Modeling processes the image data, which provides a partial normal distribution function (NDF) for each surface point. The NDF at each selected point is completed by texture synthesis using similar, overlapping partial NDFs from other points. Also described is a scanning device that illuminates a sample surface from a two-dimensional set of light directions using a linear array of LEDs moved over a flat sample.

  • Publication number: 20140341104
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a network node for selecting transmission mode to a cell providing Multicasting/Broadcasting Multimedia Service, MBMS, which cell is served by the network node in a MBMS single frequency network and comprising at least one user equipment receiving or requesting MBMS data. The network node obtains (601) a first parameter related to a quality of the MBMS experienced by the at least one user equipment and compares Based the first parameter with a predefined first threshold value. Based on the result of comparison the network node selects (604) a transmission mode to the cell.

  • Publication number: 20130315128
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method, a radio network controller and a wireless communication system for allocating transport channels to provide Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service MBMS services to one or more User Equipments UEs in a cell of a wireless network, comprising: obtaining parameters including a rate required by a MBMS service and a location factor indicating location of a UE in the cell, determining power cost of providing the MBMS service to the UE for each of types of transport channels available in the cell based on at least the required service rate and the location factor, and selecting a type of transport channel that has a minimum power cost to provide the MBMS service to the UE. This improves the efficiency of power usage, overall cell throughput and service quality.

  • Patent number: 7841391
Abstract: The present invention discloses a flooded type evaporating heat-exchange copper tube for an electrical refrigeration unit. The evaporating heat-exchange tube comprises a smooth surface portion, a finned portion provided with plurality of fins and a transitional portion connecting the smooth surface portion to the finned portion, with primary evaporating chambers defined between the fins. Fifth fins extending upwardly are provided on a bottom wall of the primary evaporating chamber, which divide the primary evaporating chamber into at least two minor cavities, and an evaporating opening is defined between adjacent fins of the primary evaporating chamber. Due to plurality of minor cavities arranged in the evaporating heat-exchange tube, refrigerant film is easy to form on bottom walls of the minor cavities, and nucleus boiling is easily to be developed. Thereafter, the refrigerant gets boiled and evaporated to form bubbles to escape via evaporating openings.
